  • Publication number: 20260125250
Abstract: A lift device includes a base including a motor configured to drive the lift device, a retractable lift assembly having a first end coupled to the base and a second end that is movable relative to the base, a coupler attached to the retractable lift assembly, the coupler configured to detachably couple the retractable lift assembly to an electro-mechanical device, and a controller. The controller is configured to determine at least one of a load supported by the coupler or a position of the load based on at least one signal from one or more sensors and selectively restrict movement of the retractable lift assembly based on the load or the position of the load.

  • Patent number: 12577085
Abstract: A leveling system for a lift device includes an axle, a pin, a cradle, and a chassis. The axle is configured to rotatably couple with one or more tractive elements. The pin extends through a bore of the axle. The cradle is pivotally coupled with the pin. The chassis is pivotally coupled with the pin and includes a first actuator and a second actuator. The first actuator and the second actuator each include a body and a rod configured to extend relative to the body. The rods of the first actuator and the second actuator are configured to be extended to engage corresponding surfaces on opposite sides of the cradle. The cradle and the chassis are configured to rock in unison a limited angular amount relative to the axle.

  • Patent number: 12573284
Abstract: A lift machine including a frame, a platform movable relative to the frame and structured to support a user, and a range and position determination system. The range and position determination system including a base unit coupled to the frame and structured to determine a platform position relative to the frame, a human machine interface structured to identify a desired position, and one or more processing circuits structured to: receive a total weight of the platform, determine distance and orientation information of the desired position, query a load map, return an acceptable status when the distance and orientation information and the total weight are within the operational envelope, return an unacceptable status when the distance and orientation information and the total weight are outside the operational envelope, and output the acceptable status or the unacceptable status to the human machine interface for display to the user.

  • Publication number: 20260057757
Abstract: A reach and placement tool includes an eyepiece, an orientation sensor, a distance sensor, and a controller. The controller is configured to obtain a distance value and an orientation from the distance sensor and the orientation sensor when the reach and placement tool is directed towards a point of interest at a particular location. The controller is also configured to determine a coordinate of the point of interest using the distance value and the orientation, and compare the coordinate of the point of interest to a reach envelope to determine if the point of interest is within range of a particular reach apparatus.

  • Publication number: 20220134946
Abstract: A vehicle defines a vehicle footprint. The vehicle includes a chassis, a cab coupled to the chassis that accommodates an operator, and a warning system coupled to a portion of the vehicle. The warning system includes a warning device and a deployment mechanism coupled to the warning device. The warning device includes at least one of a light assembly having a plurality of lights, a flag, or a sign. The deployment mechanism is configured to facilitate repositioning the warning device between a stowed position and a deployed position. When in the stowed position, the warning device is completely positioned within or substantially positioned within the vehicle footprint. When in the deployed position, the warning device extends out of the vehicle footprint and is positioned at a height sufficient so as not to impede the operator as the operator moves around the vehicle footprint.
