Abstract: Various methods and devices are provided for allowing multiple surgical instruments to be inserted into sealing elements of a single surgical access device. The sealing elements can be movable along predefined pathways within the device to allow surgical instruments inserted through the sealing elements to be moved laterally, rotationally, angularly, and vertically relative to a central longitudinal axis of the device for ease of manipulation within a patient's body while maintaining insufflation.

Abstract: A fuel filtration system and methods controlling, and operating a fuel filtration system. A first fuel filter head is fluidly coupled to one or more first fuel filters, a second fuel filter head is fluidly coupled to one or more second fuel filters and a selector valve is coupled to the first fuel filter head and the second fuel filter head. The selector valve includes a primary valve inlet port, a primary valve outlet port, and a movable valve body movable from a first position to a second position. The first position fluidly couples the first fuel filter head to the primary valve outlet port and fluidly decouples the second fuel filter head from the primary valve outlet port. The second position fluidly couples the second fuel filter head to the primary valve outlet port and fluidly decouples the first fuel filter head from the primary valve outlet port.

Abstract: A system and method provide for determining in a computer system the intersections between a plurality of rays residing in three dimensional (3D) space and one or more surface elements residing in the 3D space. The rays or lines corresponding to the rays share a common intersection point. The method includes for each of the rays, storing the intersection point of the ray with a projection surface in the 3D space in a data structure in the computer system. For each of the surface elements, determining using projection a two-dimensional (2D) region representing the projection of the surface element onto the projection surface; and determining using intersection testing which points stored in the data structure are inside the 2D region. The points determined to be inside the 2D region represent intersection points between the surface element and the rays corresponding to the points.
