Abstract: A collapsible safety rail system for providing a portable or permanent protective barrier to provide for fall prevention from elevated or other work areas. Lockable pivot assemblies are located between heavy bases and the end posts of collapsible safety rail assemblies. Removable detent pins are utilized to lock the pivot assemblies to maintain the erected position of the collapsible safety rail assemblies in protective vertical orientation or are removed to allow maneuvering of the collapsible safety rail assemblies to a minimum viewable profile position when not required for personnel protection.

Abstract: A wheeled cart and method for moving a constant force weight system to and from a roof-top surface. The wheeled cart comprises a handle for pushing and a handle for pulling the cart; a front lift plate and a rear lift plate; and a winch device connected to both the front lift plate and the rear lift plate. The weight system is attached to the wheeled cart by interconnecting an opposing pair of adapted edges of the weight system with the front and a rear lift plate of the wheeled cart. When the weight system is connected to the lift plates, the winch device is wound or unwound to lift or lower the weight system such that the cart can be moved while carrying the weight system.

The improved gate section incorporates a single pull double latching mechanism which includes two durable and robust latches each with its own manual operating tab but also a manual operating handle whereby both latches can be operated simultaneously.

Abstract: An improved portable safety guardrail system which utilizes cast iron bases or welded bases and tubular guardrail sections and gates. The system is designed to meet and exceed OSHA Fall Protection Regulations while having the appeal of being modular and portable with no need for anchoring devices (i.e., anchor bolts, etc.). This invention allows for infinite configuration of a guardrail system to suit the needs of the user.
