Patent number: 11972436Abstract: A system comprises at least one computer device in communication with one or more server computers. The system converts unstructured text into usable order details, and uses instant messaging to notify recipients of the order details. The notices include electronic web links that launch a web interface that generates an editable, pre-populated electronic order ticket based on the order details. Submission of the electronic order ticket launches an auction during which the recipients may respond with offers to fulfill to the electronic order ticket. If after the auction more than one response is needed to fill the electronic order ticket, the system automatically allocates how and in which order the responses will be used to fill the electronic order ticket. If the electronic order ticket is not completely filled after the auction, the electronic order ticket is submitted to one or more additional exchanges for further filling.Type: GrantFiled: April 15, 2021Date of Patent: April 30, 2024Assignee: ICE Data, LPInventors: Jacob E. Patent number: 9164567Abstract: Various technologies and techniques are disclosed for providing and interacting with a centralized wake service. A server-side wake service is provided that is operable to allow applications to subscribe to the wake service. The wake service receives a wake request directed to a particular computing device from a particular one of the applications. The wake request is forwarded from the wake service to a client-side communication service on the particular computing device if forwarding is determined to be appropriate. When the client-side communication service on the particular computing device receives the wake request while in a reduced power mode, the computing device wakes up and an appropriate response is determined.Type: GrantFiled: November 29, 2010Date of Patent: October 20, 2015Assignee: Microsoft Technology Licensing, LLCInventors: Gregory S. Patent number: 9047607Abstract: Methods, systems and apparatus are described for determining eligibility for a location-based shipping option for multiple fulfillment networks. Embodiments may send display information to a user in response to a user request for display information for one or more items offered on a network-based site. The display information may be configured to indicated whether items are eligible for an enhanced shipping option based upon the shipping origin of the item and a predicted shipping destination. Some embodiments may provide multiple fulfillment networks with the enhanced shipping option. Some of the fulfillment networks may be controlled by an entity different from the entity controlling the network-based site. In some embodiments the enhanced shipping option is an option within a subscription-based shipping program for the network-based site.Type: GrantFiled: June 25, 2012Date of Patent: June 2, 2015Assignee: Amazon TechnologiesInventors: Stephen M. Patent number: 7341300Abstract: A glove box is provided comprising an instrument panel substrate and a door panel rotatably mounted thereto. A push button assembly includes a latch element movable between a door panel engagement position and a door panel release position. The assembly farther includes a push button element including a button activation surface having a button height and a button width. The push button is in communication with the latch element to move it into the door panel release position. A rigid button housing is included having a rigid perimeter surrounding the button activation surface. The button height is insufficient to allow knee intrusion activation.Type: GrantFiled: June 4, 2006Date of Patent: March 11, 2008Assignee: International Automotive Components Group North America, Inc.Inventors: Gregory S. Patent number: 6205868Abstract: A tension sensor (10) for a vehicle seatbelt (12) comprises a base (14) having a pair of guide pin blocks (16) and (18) depending therefrom, and a plurality of spaced upper and lower guide pins, 20 and 22 respectively, for guiding the seatbelt (12). A plunger housing (30) having an orifice (32) therein for acceptance of a movable plunger (40) is secured to the base (14). The plunger (40) has an upper portion (42) shaped to allow the seatbelt (12) to travel over the plunger (40) with minimal friction. A plurality of springs (46) are disposed between the base (14) and the plunger (40) to bias the plunger (40) against the lateral force of the seatbelt (12) when under tension. A permanent magnet (50) secured to the plunger moves into close proximity to a Hall effect sensor (52) when the plunger (40) is depressed by the seatbelt (12). The Hall effect sensor (52) has an output (54) responsive to the magnetic flux therein.Type: GrantFiled: December 9, 1998Date of Patent: March 27, 2001Inventor: Gregory S. Miller

Patent number: 5383640Abstract: A vehicular seat having an adjustment apparatus for horizontally and vertically positioning the seat is provided. The adjustment apparatus includes a four bar mechanism that extends from a base and supports cushioned seat members. As the four bar mechanism is articulated with respect to the base, the seat members supported thereon are moved vertically and horizontally between elevated forward positions and lowered rearward positions. The adjustment mechanism also includes a spring for storing a portion of the energy exerted while seat members are moved from an elevated forward position to a lowered rearward position. Energy stored within the spring is used to assist lifting the seat members and the occupant therein as the seat is elevated.Type: GrantFiled: September 17, 1993Date of Patent: January 24, 1995Assignee: Douglas & Lomason CompanyInventors: Richard F.
