  • Patent number: 10524585
Abstract: An infant carrier includes a carrying handle having a coupling shell pivotally connected with a coupling portion of a seat body, and a latch assembled in the coupling shell. The carrying handle is adjustable to multiple angular positions, which include a carry position for facilitating transport of the infant carrier with the carrying handle, and a recline position inclined relative to the carry position. The latch can engage with the coupling portion for locking the carrying handle in position, or disengage from the coupling portion for allowing rotation of the carrying handle. A safety mechanism is disposed in an inner cavity between the coupling shell and the coupling portion, and is operable to allow the latch to engage with the coupling portion for forcing the carrying handle to stop in an intermediate safety position during adjustment of the carrying handle from the carry position toward the recline position.

  • Patent number: 10299609

The carrying handle is adjustable to multiple angular positions, which include a carry position for facilitating transport of the infant carrier with the carrying handle, and a recline position inclined relative to the carry position. The latch can engage with the coupling portion for locking the carrying handle in position, or disengage from the coupling portion for allowing rotation of the carrying handle. A safety mechanism is disposed in an inner cavity defined at least partially by the coupling shell and the coupling portion, and can interact with the latch for forcing the carrying handle to stop in an intermediate safety position during adjustment of the carrying handle from the carry position toward the recline position.

  • Patent number: 10144332
Abstract: A child seat includes a shell body, and an object holder including a bracket, a support base, and a flexible linking member having a first and a second end respectively attached to the bracket and the support base. The bracket is movably assembled with the shell body so that the object holder is movable between a storage state and a deployed state, and the support base is movable relative to the bracket between a collapse position where the support base is received within an opening defined through the bracket, and an expanding position where the support base is hung below the bracket.

  • Patent number: 9937823
Abstract: A child safety seat includes a seat shell, and a first and a second belt restraining member respectively connected with the seat shell. The seat shell has a shell surface, and a first and a second opening for selective passage of an anchoring belt to attach the child safety seat on a vehicle seat in two different configurations, which include a rearward and a forward facing configuration. The first belt restraining member is independently operable to press against an anchoring belt passing through the first opening, and the second belt restraining member is independently operable to press against an anchoring belt passing through the second opening.

  • Patent number: 9789791
Abstract: A child safety seat includes a seat shell having a seat portion and a backrest, the seat portion having a front end opposite to the backrest, and an extension member connected with the seat shell and having a forward end. The extension member is configurable between a first position where the forward end deploys forward away from the front end of the seat shell, and a second position in which the extension member is retracted toward or removed from the seat shell. The child safety seat has a rear facing configuration of installation, and the forward end of the extension member when in the first position is configured to provide abuttal contact against a seatback of the vehicle seat in the rear facing configuration.

  • Patent number: 9758067
Abstract: The child safety seat provides a crotch belt assembly to allow the consumer to adjust the crotch belt's position and length without disassembling the child restraint. The positioner uses two tab-like abutting ends that can slide within the channels so that the positioner may be configured at different positions with respect to the seat section, allowing for quick adjustability from a rear position to a forward position and vice versa. The crotch belt runs through the positioner and is connected to the seat shell with the belt attachment. The rear position will be used for the smaller child and is locked into that position by the second abutting end. The second abutting end is depressed and the positioner is slid forward until the first abutting end engages. During this process, the length of the crotch belt will automatically adjust for proper fit for the larger child.
