Publication number: 20180096425Abstract: A system and method for determining eligibility of persons and enrolling those persons in various programs. For example, one embodiment is particularly suited for enrolling credit card members in payment programs. A program is selected, after which enrollment information is entered. The enrollment information is checked and verified, and the enrollment application is checked for eligibility. The enrollment may be either accepted or declined. The possibility of reiterative enrollment in more than one program is provided. A system is provided for tracking which payment programs are the most enticing for later feedback analysis.Type: ApplicationFiled: October 10, 2013Publication date: April 5, 2018Applicant: JPMorgan Chase Bank, N.A.Inventors: Scott H. Simon, Nancy W. Woodall, Michael F. Nikithser, Jon K. Forst, Gregory Shields

Patent number: 8937561Abstract: A system and method for controlling a body-scanning device using multiple wireless devices is disclosed. The method includes communicating a secure wireless signal from a footswitch enclosure to a footswitch receiver coupled to the body scanning device in response to an actuation of a footswitch zone carried on a footswitch enclosure. Additionally, a wireless signal is communicated from a handswitch enclosure in response to an actuation of a handswitch zone and communicated to a handswitch receiver located in the footswitch enclosure. The wireless signal is then communicated from the footswitch enclosure to the footswitch receiver coupled to the body-scanning device to enable an operator to control the body-scanning device using the handswitch or the footswitch.Type: GrantFiled: April 16, 2012Date of Patent: January 20, 2015Assignee: Canyon Ridge Resources, L.L.C.Inventors: Gregory Shields, Robert H. Woodward

Patent number: 8274376Abstract: A system and method for controlling a body-scanning device with a wireless footswitch is disclosed. The method includes polling a status of a plurality of switches on a wireless footswitch using a microprocessor. A pulsed signal is sent from the microprocessor to a watchdog timer. The pulsed signal is pulsed at a predetermined rate when the microprocessor is operating within selected operating parameters. The microprocessor is reset when the pulsed signal is pulsed at a rate less than the predetermined rate. The status of the plurality of switches on the wireless footswitch is transmitted to a receiver connected to the scanning device to enable the scanning device to be controlled by actuating at least one of the plurality of switches on the wireless footswitch.Type: GrantFiled: November 17, 2008Date of Patent: September 25, 2012Assignee: Canyon Ridge Resources, L.L.C.Inventors: Gregory Shields, Robert H. Woodward

Patent number: 8159370Abstract: A system and method for controlling a body-scanning device using multiple wireless devices is disclosed. The method includes communicating a secure wireless signal from a footswitch enclosure to a footswitch receiver coupled to the body scanning device in response to an actuation of a substantially flat footswitch zone carried on a footswitch enclosure. Additionally, a wireless signal is communicated from a handswitch enclosure in response to an actuation of a handswitch zone and communicated to a handswitch receiver located in the footswitch enclosure. The wireless signal is then communicated from the footswitch enclosure to the footswitch receiver coupled to the body-scanning device to enable an operator to control the body-scanning device using the handswitch or the footswitch.Type: GrantFiled: November 17, 2008Date of Patent: April 17, 2012Assignee: Canyon Ridge Resources, LLCInventors: Gregory Shields, Robert H.
