  • Publication number: 20240126560
Abstract: An Ethernet switch and a switch microcontroller or CPU are integrated onto a system-on-a-chip (SoC). The Ethernet switch remains independently operating at full speed even though the remainder of the SoC is being reset or is otherwise nonoperational. The Ethernet switch is on a separated power and clock domain from the remainder of the integrated SoC. A warm reset signal is trapped by control microcontroller (MCU) to allow the switch CPU to isolate the Ethernet switch and save state. When the Ethernet switch is isolated and operating independently, the warm reset request is provided to the other entities on the integrated SoC. When warm reset is completed, the state is restored and the various DMA and flow settings redeveloped in the integrated SoC to allow return to normal operating condition.

  • Patent number: 11960416
Abstract: Techniques including a memory controller with a set of memory channel queues, wherein memory channel queues of the set of memory channel queues correspond to memory channels to access a set of memory modules, a first arbitration module, and a second arbitration module. The memory controller is configured to receive a first memory request from the peripheral and place one or more portions of the first memory request in the memory channel queues of the set of memory channel queues. The first arbitration module is configured to determine an arbitration algorithm, select a first memory channel queue based on the arbitration algorithm, present the one or more portions of the first memory request in the selected first memory channel queue to the second arbitration module, and output the presented one or more portions of the first memory request based on a selection by the second arbitration module.

  • Publication number: 20230011295
Abstract: An acoustic metamaterial structure acts as a sound reducing filter in that the level of sound that exits the structure is much less than the magnitude of sound that enters the structure. In forming the structure, modular stages of a given geometry are stacked upon one another to create a cell. Each stage of the cell is provided with a nozzle that is acoustically connected to the nozzles of other stages of the cell. The stages have chambers that are positioned radially or laterally outside of the respective nozzles, with the chambers of the cell being acoustically connected to one another. An amalgamation of cells are arranged in an adjacent formation, with chambers of the cells being acoustically connected to one another for purposes of protecting items, components and people from destructive levels of sound. The geometry of the nozzles and chambers are designed for economical additive manufacture with acoustic infills.

  • Publication number: 20200390680
Abstract: Kits comprising unit-dose oral care compositions with two or more flavors. Kits comprising unit-dose oral care compositions with two or more benefit agents. An oral care regimen comprising applying water to a toothbrush and picking up a unit-dose oral care composition without the consumer having to handle the unit-dose oral care composition.

  • Patent number: 4582552
Abstract: An improved crash-lock carton forming apparatus having three carton forming stations (44, 60 and 80). The first station (44) has engagement means comprising a pair of transversely spaced lifting arms (45, 45a) for lifting two flaps (20, 21) of the carton (12) and folding the flaps against side panels (14, 15) of the carton (12) and ploughs (49, 49a) for folding connector tabs (24, 25) in the reverse direction to that of the panels (14, 15). Second station (60) downstream of the first includes engagement means comprising lifting arms (61, 61a) for lifting and folding flaps (19, 22) in the same direction as the first two flaps (20, 21). A bonding station is adjacent the second station (60) for applying bonding agent to the tabs (24, 25). The third station (80) lifts and folds the remaining two flaps (19, 22) against associated ones of the side panels (13, 16). First and second holding and conveying means (51, 52 and 70, 71) for conveying the blank (12) through the apparatus.
