Abstract: A method and apparatus for generating a plurality of unique configurations of indicia is provided. A first set of indicia is provided, including a plurality of first groups of indicia. Then a second set of indicia is provided that has a plurality of second groups of indicia. The first set of indicia is then combined with the second set of indicia in a pairwise fashion, wherein a number of the first groups of indicia is relatively prime in relation to an number of the second groups of indicia.

Abstract: A “lottery-type” game of chance for one or more players employs break open tickets (10) which have printed on them a matrix (38) of characters (40), such as a 3×3 number matrix. Each ticket includes a unique pattern of numbers, which differs from others in a set of the tickets. The numbers (40) are covered, prior to play, with a removable cover member (32), such as a flap or scratch off seal. The game can be played in a variety of different ways, dependent upon the pattern (such as any line, the letter “X”, or coverall) which is chosen as the winning pattern. The game is played by employing a random number generator. The players dab their ticket if the number generated is present on their ticket. The player who first completes the game, by competing the preselected pattern from the numbers called, wins the game. The winning face can be verified by a verification number (62) which is printed on each card.

Abstract: A bingo game booklet includes a top sheet having at least one bingo face with a first serial number located on each bingo face of the top sheet wherein the first serial number is identical on each bingo face of the top sheet. A second sheet is located below the top sheet with the second sheet including at least one bingo face. A second serial number is located on each bingo face of the second sheet. The second serial number is identical on each bingo face of the second sheet and is also identical to the first serial number. A first indicium is located on the top sheet wherein each of the bingo faces is designated by the first indicium. A second indicium is located on the second sheet wherein each bingo face of the second sheet is designated by the second indicium. The first and second indicia are different. A connecting element connects an edge of the top sheet to an edge of the second sheet to form the sheets into a bingo game booklet.
