Publication number: 20230375097Abstract: The invention is directed to a one-way valve for a flexible package which comprises a first film layer having at least one first cut line and a second film layer having at least one second cut line, wherein the lines are offset from one another. An adhesive layer is disposed between the film layers. The film layers and the adhesive layer define a valve area wherein the first film layer and the second film layer are not permanently adhered to each other. The second cut line fluidly connects the interior of the flexible package to the valve area and the first cut line fluidly connects the valve area to the ambient atmosphere surrounding the flexible package. The adhesive pattern within the valve area creates a gas flow channel from the second cut line toward the first cut line.Type: ApplicationFiled: June 1, 2023Publication date: November 23, 2023Inventor: DONALD GREGORY TAYLOR

Patent number: 11747120Abstract: Nosecone and tailfin designs for aerodynamic systems are disclosed. The designs increase the usable volume within the fuselage of the aerodynamic system while still maintaining the same length for the aerodynamic system. In an example, the nosecone is truncated and includes a blunted tip compared to standard nosecone designs, which allows for more useable space along the length of the aerodynamic system. A tailfin structure is fabricated as a separate piece (separate from the fuselage of the aerodynamic system) and slips over a portion of one end of the fuselage, thus allowing useable volume within the fuselage beneath the tailfin structure. The tailfin structure also includes a hollow cavity for holding componentry (e.g., an RF transmitter, receiver, or transceiver device) with wires that feed through the tailfin structure and into the fuselage of the aerodynamic system.Type: GrantFiled: June 11, 2021Date of Patent: September 5, 2023Assignee: BAE Systems Information and Electronic Systems Integration Inc.Inventors: Gregory Taylor-Power, Ross T. A remote advertising system includes an identification, location and authentication system associated with a physical venue, including a master sensor node and a plurality of sensors. A cloud-based advertisement service is deployed in the physical venue. An application installed on a mobile device determines a first set of coordinates corresponding to the mobile device location, transmits a first search request for a service, receives and displays a list of services, including the physical venue associated with the master sensor node and the physical venue including a teleportation indicator, and receives an indication that the teleportation indicator is selected. The application determines a second set of coordinates corresponding to the physical venue location, replaces the first set of coordinates with the second set of coordinates, transmits a second search request, and receives and displays a second list based on the second set of coordinates.Type: GrantFiled: January 20, 2021Date of Patent: August 29, 2023Assignee: cloudTraQ LLCInventors: Gregory Taylor DeWitt, Eugen Munteanu
