Abstract: A mobility assistance device includes a frame having a base frame, a handle frame, and a support frame extending from the base frame to the handle frame. The mobility assistance device also includes a series of wheels coupled to the base frame, at least one electric motor coupled to at least one wheel of the series of wheels, at least one power supply coupled to the at least one electric motor, at least one electronics module coupled to the frame including a memory device and a processor coupled to the memory device, and at least one hand control coupled to the handle frame. Operation of the hand control is configured to control operation of the at least one electric motor.

Abstract: The present invention provides an adapter for replaceable flash memory cards which can be used in existing stereo systems having a standard cassette player interface. The adapter is constructed and arranged to interface with a conventional stereo system so as to maintain full functionality of the included cassette player even when used with an adapter. Disposed within the housing is a flash card, or other solid state memory, which contains digital data. Audio data is retrieved form the card, decompressed, converted into corresponding analog signals and then fed to the play head of a standard cassette player. Circuits are provided to maintain substantially all the function of the cassette player, including fast forward and reverse.
