  • Patent number: 11272812
Abstract: A blending device having an interlock system which may comprise a plurality of subassemblies. A thermal detector may be configured to be proximity with matter being blended for human consumption. Interlock system may further include a blade interlock contact and a compressive contact. The blender vessel may be configured to compress the compressive contact to a communicative configuration when connected with the blade assembly. Interlock system may utilize a blender base assembly that has base interlock contacts and a motor. The blade assembly may be configured to releasably mount to the blender base assembly and may cause the base interlock contact and the blade interlock contact to come into electrical communication with each other. The interlock system may ultimately result in the motor being obstructed from operation unless certain conditions are met. The interlock system may further utilize one or more than one logic circuit element.

  • Publication number: 20070222168
Abstract: A transport caddy preferably includes at least a wheel supporting a base portion, an alpine snow ski detachably secured between the base and cover portions, and a ski pole disposed within the cover portion and secured adjacent the alpine snow ski by an accessories support portion detachably attached to the alpine snow ski is disclosed. Preferably, the ski pole is secured to the transport caddy by steps that include at least: positioning a tip of the ski pole within a pole tip confinement aperture provided by the cover; rotating a ski pole confinement member of the accessories support portion into non-adjacency with a ski pole retention portion of the accessories support portion; disposing a shaft portion of said ski pole within the ski pole retention portion; and re-rotating said ski pole confinement member into pressing contact with the shaft portion.

  • Patent number: 6244458
Abstract: A container has a base, peripheral walls and a lid. Each of the base, peripheral walls and lid includes an interior wall spaced from an exterior wall, with vacuum panel in between. The sides of the vacuum panels are covered by compressible insulation fill, minimizing thermal flow along the vacuum panels despite any manufacturing tolerance differences in the width of the vacuum panels as compared to the distance between the interior wall and the exterior wall. The interior wall of the body of the container is provided by a liner formed of a single, deep drawn sheet of material. The exterior wall is similarly formed as a deep drawn shell. The inner liner and the outer shell are welded together with a bead to encase the vacuum panels in a water-tight manner, with the liner, the shell the bead all formed of the same material.
