    Abstract: A floatation device for attachment to a cap for preventing the cap from sinking when dropped in a body of water. The floatation device includes a planar sheet of buoyant material and an adhesive layer adhered to one side of the sheet. A removable release liner is disposed on the adhesive layer such that the release liner can be removed to expose the adhesive layer for attachment of the sheet to the bill of the cap.
