  • Publication number: 20230056506
Abstract: The present invention relates to a system and method for assessing and training the quality of attentional awareness and control of an individual. The individual's attention is monitored using a neurophysiological system such as EEG while using a computer system and display that provides signals that allow the correlation of behavioral measures of attention with neurophysiological measures. The combination of those signals is a novel, accurate and reliable system for assessing any individual's true attention capabilities.

  • Publication number: 20220415478
Abstract: Systems and methods for improved cognition via mental exercises are provided. In some embodiments, contextual information regarding the user and her environment are collected. Subsequently, the user is presented with a cognitive task, wherein the cognitive task includes a stimuli and the task specifies a desired response to the stimuli. Feedback is then collected from the user. Additionally the exercise results are assessed. The feedback, results and context information are then all aggregated in order to generate guidance for the user of the system. Guidance may be determined by a rule based system, via AI modeling, or by some combination of the two.

  • Patent number: 9378658
Abstract: A meta-attention trainer for enhancing the meta-attention of a user. The trainer includes a processor coupled to a display device. The display device presents the user with a cognitive task that includes a stimuli. The cognitive task specifies a desired response to the stimuli. The processor assesses attentional control of the user in relation to the cognitive task, and generates an instruction and/or a feedback, based on the attentional control assessment, to the user, thereby enabling the user to reflect on the meta-attention of the user.
