Abstract: A clothes dryer exhaust vent (dryer vent) and the method of installation in a residential or commercial building exterior foundation wall, during construction of a building, to save the expense and costs of a clothes dryer exhaust vent installation after a building has been constructed, to reduce repair and additional construction costs. The dryer vent has a rigid wall mounting plate (plastic or metal) that is mounted in the construction block array of an exterior building foundation wall while the wall is under construction. The clothes dryer exhaust vent includes a clothes dryer exhaust vent tube connected through the rigid, wall mounting plate (manually removable), an exterior (outdoors) hemispherical-shaped clothes dryer vent open end cover assembly, manually removable for cleaning and removing lint, said cover assembly including a clothes dryer exhaust vent flapper valve.

Abstract: A traction device for an elastomeric track comprises a first bracket comprising a first portion comprising a tapered surface and a second portion configured to be removably coupled to the first portion to define a U-shaped channel configured to receive at least a portion of an elastomeric track, a first chain coupled to the first bracket at a first end of the first chain, a second bracket coupled to a second end of first chain opposite the first bracket, and a plate coupled to the first chain between the first bracket and the second bracket, the plate configured to substantially prevent the first chain from entering the recesses of the elastomeric track. Abstract: Adaptively streaming media encoded at variable bit rates and/or optimizing the presentation thereof according perceivable capabilities of a client or other device interfacing the media with a user is contemplated. The adaptive streaming and media selection processes may be utilized with virtually any suitable mechanism for exchanging media, such as but not necessarily limited to optimizing usage of Dynamic Adaptive Streaming over HTTP (DASH) to manage network resources according to capabilities of user to perceive the corresponding media.

Abstract: The present open standard conditional access system uses an open standard protocol for authenticating devices, selectively enabling services, and revoking service on cable and satellite content distribution networks. This system uses a two-way communication protocol between devices in the home and security system servers in the cable network. This allows for security information to be sent only to those devices that need the security information. A two-way communication protocol also allows the end device to request security information instead of waiting for it to be broadcast as in a one-way protocol. The present open standard conditional access system uses the security system already present in most DOCSIS cable modems to protect both IP data and MPEG content.

Means may be provided for determining a quality value corresponding to the quality of the reagent solution.
