  • Publication number: 20070224553
Abstract: A method for producing a metallized image on a sheet material includes impregnating the material with a metal salts-containing solution and exposing the specified material points to a pulse laser radiation. The interaction of the pulses with the solution within a laser spot irritates a photochemical reaction resulting in a metal ion reduction into the elementary state thereof by associating the required number of electrons and deposition of metallic film which is firmly fixed to the filler of the sheet material in the laser spot area on the material surface. In case of sufficient laser radiation power, a recess is formed on the sheet material surface, and the metallic film is deposited on the bottom of the recess.

  • Patent number: 5402163
Abstract: A jet print head (1) comprises a chamber (2) for current conductive ink (6) and an ink discharge port (3) to express ink onto the information carrier (4). The discharge port (3) has a group array of parallel rows of orifices (5) obtained in the form of flow-through openings communicating with the chamber (2) and represented by a multilaminate structure established on an underlay (8) and having layers forming electrodes (7) which are common for each row of orifices (5), and individual electrodes (10) for every orifice (5), produced as an integral whole together with the current conductive bar (12), and a magnetic layer (9) placed between them. The energy signal pulse sent to the electrodes (7,10) creates electro-dynamic force by virtue of which an ink drop is discharged from the given capillary tube to fall onto the information carrier (4).

  • Patent number: 5325118
Abstract: A jet printing head has a chamber for an inking liquid and a multilayer nozzle assembly for supplying liquid from the chamber to a data medium. The nozzles are arranged in parallel rows and lines. The nozzles in each row have a common electrode of one polarity and individual electrodes of opposite polarity. The individual electrodes for each line of nozzles are connected to a common bus. The buses for the respective lines are located in a plane parallel to the electrode plane with an interposed dielectric layer. The assembly includes a permanent magnet layer remote from the liquid chamber.

  • Patent number: 5261656
Abstract: At every chain (4) of the chain conveyor (3), there are arranged a vane element (6) and a clamp member (7) in the shape of a double arm lever, one arm of which affords engagement with the vane element (6), while another's roller (11) moves on/off a cam or pattern-copy-device (13) along the path of the chain (4) travel next to the product folding apparatus. Between the clamp member (7) and the vane element (6) a compartment or pocket (15) is formed to receive the printed product (1). As the chain (4) continues its movement, the roller (11) engaged with the cam (13) bears upon the element (7), and thereby the printed product (1) is held and the by-the-piece conveyance of the printed products is ensured.

  • Patent number: 5129506
Abstract: The invention relates to space conveyers. The conveyer comprises a traction unit (4), carrying rolling-contact bearings moving along a guide track made in the form of supporting elements (8) arranged uniformly along the entire length of the conveyer with the formation of a closed polygon in the cross-section perpendicular to the conveyer axis. The rolling-contact bearings are rollers 10 mounted in pairs in the intersecting pins (11, 12). Each roller (10) is arranged between two adjacent supporting elements (8) of the guide track.

  • Patent number: 4903823
Abstract: A spatial conveyor includes a draw member (1) running on spherical supports (4) along a trackway. The draw member (1) consists of links each of which comprises interconnected plate cheeks (5, 6) having cavities. Some of the cavities accommodate elements connecting the adjacent plate cheeks (5, 6), whereas the others accommodate the spherical supports (4) running along the trackway made in the form of a plurality of support elements (11, 12, 13, 14) disposed equidistantly and uniformly relative to the longitudinal axis of the conveyor and making up in a section a closed regular polygon.

  • Patent number: 4872800
Abstract: A unit goods storage includes racks (1) a frame-work (2) of which is made up each of vertical masts giving support to stacks of cantilever shelves (3,4) facing each other with their free sides so as to form vertical passages each containing a horizontal conveyor (5) the ends of the frames of which extend beyond the framework (2). All ends of the frames of the conveyors (5) are interlinked by stiff members (6) so as to form therewith a gridwork (7) capable of displacing up and down the height of the storage under the action of a drive (8).

  • Patent number: 4143870
Abstract: The present invention relates to folder delivery arrangements for reel-fed rotary printing presses. The arrangement comprises driven finger-type lay-down devices under each of which a box receptacle is provided for receiving newspaper prints and forming piles thereof, said box receptacle having a pallet vertically traversable by means of mechanism mechanically interlinked with the drive shaft of the finger-type lay-down devices through a cam-operated mechanism. The cam of said mechanism has such a contour as to provide downward traversing of the box pallet at the speed required for the lay-down fingers to periodically press the folds of the newspaper prints in the pile when every next print is placed upon the top one in the pile which is being formed on the box pallet during its downward traverse.
