The system comprises a relay server subsystem comprising one or more relay servers comprising one or more public addressable control servers and one or more public addressable forwarding servers; and a relay agent subsystem comprising one or more relay agents comprising one or more origination agents and one or more termination agents residing in different networks, serving the client applications in the origination networks and the server applications in the destination networks respectively, to build the virtual TCP connections between the client applications and the server applications. WebSocket protocol is used to create full-duplex TCP connections between relay agents and the relay servers.
