Abstract: This invention provides an ophthalmic composition for the treatment and/or prevention of visual disorders caused by changes in the eye's lens structure, particularly related to the alteration of the proteins that form the lens. The ophthalmic composition consists of a polyphenolic compound in combination with a terpenoid, or its salts or crystalline forms, in therapeutically effective amounts, requiring low doses of bioactive compounds to treat the disease through a reduced number of applications. Specifically, the ophthalmic composition of the invention may be employed for the treatment and reversal of visual disorders caused by alterations in the structure of the crystalline lens, such as cataracts, by being able to reverse the opacity of the lens caused by the disease.

Abstract: Embodiments are directed toward a non-transitory processor-readable medium for providing a zero-day attack prevention cybersecurity system, including an agent and an orchestrator. The agent is configured to be installed at an endpoint within a network to be evaluated. The endpoint has a cybersecurity solution to be tested. The orchestrator is enables standardized tactics, techniques, and procedures (“TTPs”) and non-standard TTPs to be sent across the network to the endpoint. The agent is configured to limit network communication outgoing from the endpoint to predefined or selected communications while the agent is installed at the endpoint. Accordingly, the agent and the orchestrator cooperatively enable testing the cybersecurity solution of the endpoint with respect to both the standardized TTPs and the non-standard TTPs without exposing other endpoints in communication with the network to security risks posed by the standardized TTPs and the non-standard TTPs sent to the endpoint.

The instructions may be identified based on an identity of a provider of a travel product and/or the market in which the product is sold. The penalty collection database may include a table that provides instructions on collecting the penalty which are indexed to a specific provider, market, or combination of provider and market. If a penalty is owed for the exchange, the instructions may cause the system to implement a specific method of collecting the penalty. The instructions may cause the penalty to be encoded and stored in a manner specific to the provider and/or market to avoid an incompatibility with another system.

The apparatus includes a front seat image collecting device disposed in a front area of the vehicle and configured to collect a front seat image of a front seat occupant. The apparatus also includes a back seat display disposed in a rear area of the vehicle, the back seat display being disposed within a viewing area of a back seat occupant. A controller or control system is configured to provide the front seat image to the back seat display, and the back seat display is configured to display the front seat image collected by the front seat image collecting device. In some variations, a back seat image can also be collected and displayed to a front seat display.

Abstract: The present invention provides a novel vaccine compound of micellar nanoparticles to be administered intranasally to treat and/or prevent the disease called atherosclerosis, which results from an abnormal metabolism of circulating lipids. The novelty of the vaccine compound of the present invention is the use of Archaebacterian lipids, lysophosphatidylcholine, and phosphatidylcholine, which give nanoparticles stability and facilitates antigen presentation in its appropriate secondary peptidic conformation. A novel process for the preparation of vaccine compounds which allows obtaining homogeneous nanoparticles with high stability is also presented in this invention.

The plurality of legs are each connected to the slider so that all of the legs are movable simultaneously to deploy or stow the stand. To deploy, the support stand is placed in a desired location, and the slider is released from a fixed position relative to the post, thereby allowing the slider and the connected plurality of legs to each fall simultaneously to a lower end of the support stand. With the downward movement of the slider, the plurality of legs also pivot to an extended position, with outer ends of each leg disposed on a ground surface to support the support stand. A releasing means that is attached to the receptacle is controlled and advances the safety cones in an automatic and controlled fashion, one-by-one, to different locations on a ground surface from a moving vehicle.

Abstract: The present invention provides a barricade sign that is compact, portable, safe, durable, versatile, and weather/wind resistant. The barricade sign distinguishes a base and a lid that are pivotally connected together. The base supports the lid and has a compartment for storing one or more safety cones or signs that can be reduced to a small volume, or any other items related to road safety. One side of the lid has a positioning element for securing the cones in place. The other side implements a desired sign. The connection between the base and the lid is configured to hold up the sign in a stable, sustainable, wind resisting manner in absence of impact and to collapse, fold, close, or break upon impact. In such an encounter, the overall height and the layered or curved shape enable the barricade sign to act like a speed bump, thereby minimizing or eliminating damages.
