  • Patent number: 11960613
Abstract: A data communication system for transferring data from a hardware unit to a blockchain or other distributed ledger. The system includes a hardware interface to connect to the hardware unit, and a device having a microcontroller, a secure element connected to the microcontroller, first communication module, and a communication protocol for enabling the microcontroller to communicate with the hardware interface through the first communication module. The microcontroller is configured to: read data from the hardware unit through the hardware interface; generate a transaction corresponding to the data; securely generate a blockchain private key (dB); digitally sign the transaction by a blockchain private key (dB); deliver the signed transaction, and then delete the blockchain private key (dB) from volatile memory of the hardware unit. The microcontroller is adapted to generate a blockchain private key (dB) from parameters contained in part from the device itself and in part from the hardware interface.

  • Publication number: 20220035932
Abstract: The present disclosure is directed to a system and a method for acquiring data related to a certain event from a source like a data network gateway or an industrial machine or a set of sensors, extract relevant information from the acquired data, encrypt the information by means of hardware powered security chips and then securely transfer the information to a single or multiple blockchain, or other kind of distributed ledgers, for validation, automatically and without any need of human intervention.

  • Publication number: 20200311406
Abstract: Described is a method for analysing documents which can be implemented by a computer comprising the steps of:—selecting a digital document (10) comprising a text component (11) and a graphical component (12);—analysing the graphical component (12) identifying alphanumeric indicators (13) associated with respective portions of the graphical component (12);—searching inside the text component (11) of the digital document (10) for the alphanumeric indicators (13) identified inside the graphical component (12) and associating them uniquely with a text indicator (14) of the text component (11) representing the respective portions of the graphical component (12);—converting the digital document (10) into an augmented reality document (20) at least by displaying on the graphical component (12) of a corresponding text (15) of the text indicator (14), at the respective alphanumeric indicator (13) associated with the text indicator (14).

  • Patent number: 10452364
Abstract: Method for defining a code to be executed by programmable control devices comprising: —providing a programming language; —providing a code written in that programming language; —compiling such code in machine language; —transferring said machine language code on a program memory for its execution by the control device, wherein said machine language code is divided into core code and application code, said application code being loaded into the program memory regardless of the core code, without performing a linking operation of the two codes before said transfer. A corresponding system is also disclosed.

  • Patent number: 10213337
Abstract: Vitrectomy probe (1) for the removal of the vitreous humour (1a) and comprising a tube (2) adapted to be put into direct contact with the vitreous (1a), defining a main axis (2a) and including an internal passage (21) and a opening (23) enabling the vitreous (1a) to enter the internal passage (21) and comprising at least one cutting edge (23a, 23b); a suction system suitable for the creation of vacuum within the internal passage (21) sucking the vitreous (1a) into the opening (23); a drive unit adapted to move the tube (2) defining a vibrational motion (A) of the tube (2) which therefore produces pressure waves reducing the viscosity of the vitreous (1a), and a reciprocating motion (B), having a frequency lower than the frequency of the vibrational motion (A), adapted to enable the cutting edges (23a, 23b) to cut the vitreous (1a)

  • Patent number: 9603740
Abstract: A vitrectomy probe for removing vitreous material from an eyeball, having a longitudinal axis and an outer tube with a closed end and a lateral surface, at least one inlet port located proximate to the closed end and configured to allow the vitreous material to enter into the outer tube; an inner tube arranged in the outer tube to relatively move with respect to the outer tube, the inner tube having an opening with a cutting profile through which the vitreous material can be cut and can enter the inner tube. A drive unit configured for causing the outer tube and the inner tube to move relatively with respect to each other, in such a way that the cutting profile cuts the vitreous material entering the inlet port.
