    Abstract: Disclosed are a hollow artificial log and a manufacturing method thereof. The method includes: splicing and fixing veneers along a length direction and a width direction, respectively, to obtain a spliced veneer; gluing the spliced veneer on one side to obtain a glued veneer; subjecting the glued veneer to winding and forming around a forming die along a length direction of the glued veneer to obtain a formed body; subjecting the formed body to hot-pressing curing in a hot-pressing die to obtain a cured body; and taking out the cured body from the forming die to obtain the hollow artificial log; wherein an adhesive for the gluing comprises a melamine-urea-formaldehyde copolycondensation resin, and the forming die is a cylinder.

    Abstract: The present disclosure provides a method for recycling urea-formaldehyde (UF) from a wood-based panel. In the present disclosure, the UF is depolymerized by an ultrasonic treatment, and depolymerized UF can be reused for UF manufacture and wood-based panel production. The recycled and treated UF can be repeatedly used in wood-based panel manufacture without affecting performances of the wood-based panel. UF-glued wood-based panels can be recycled, and a recycled wood-based panel raw material can replace at least 50% of a non-recycled wood-based raw material for particle board production without affecting performances of the wood-based panel.

    Abstract: A series type continuous automatic ENF-grade plywood production line and a production method is set forth. The production line is at least composed of three serially connected independent process units with the same processing flow, which are core initialization, thickening circulation and product setting. Each process unit at least includes the following procedures: surface sanding, gluing, automatic lay-up, constant-thickness hot pressing, board overturning and cooling, defect scanning and repairing. The thickening circulation process unit can form a ring-shaped production line through a loop formed by the above procedures, or can form a linear production line by repeatedly extending above procedures. The present disclosure has the beneficial effects that the procedures of aging and prepressing of veneers, which lead to the stagnation of production process, are omitted, and the main obstacles in the continuous and automatic production of plywood are overcome.

    Abstract: The present disclosure provides a modified deodorant urea-formaldehyde (UF) resin and use thereof, as well as a particleboard and a preparation method thereof, and relates to the technical field of wood-based panels. Raw materials for preparing the modified deodorant UF resin provided by the present disclosure include: melamine-modified UF resin (MUF), aluminum ammonium sulfate dodecahydrate, wax, and water. Raw materials for preparing the MUF include: urea, formaldehyde, and melamine. When the modified deodorant UF resin provided by the present disclosure is used to prepare wood-based panels, the aluminum ammonium sulfate dodecahydrate losses 12 crystal water during hot pressing to form a metastable structure NH4Al(SO4)2, in which NH4+ can react with the formaldehyde to reduce formaldehyde emission, and NH4+ and A13+ can absorb hydroxyl groups of organic substances to form hydrogen bonds to reduce odor of the wood-based panels.

    Abstract: The present disclosure relates to the technical field of resource recycling and provides a processing method for a waste oriented strand board and waste oriented wood chips, and an oriented strand board preparation method thereof. The processing method for a waste oriented strand board provided in the present disclosure includes the following steps: softening a waste oriented strand board to obtain a softened waste oriented strand board; and flaking the softened waste oriented strand board pieces using a disc flaker to obtain waste oriented wood chips. According to the present disclosure, the waste oriented strand board is softened first to be chipped readily. It is specified in the present disclosure that the disc flaker is used such that relatively intact wood chips can be obtained.

A pH value of the adhesive solution is controlled to be 9-11. A solid content is 40-60%. An adhesive amount applied to the palm bark by the resin adhesive solution is 800-1500 g/m2. Odd number of layers (three or more layers) of palm barks that are impregnated by the resin adhesive solution and are hot-pressed to the composite material. Hot-pressed parameters are as follows: the temperature is 150-180° C. the unit pressure is 0.8-1.5 MPa, and the time is 10-30 s/mm.
