Abstract: A system and method for restricting and controlling access to electronic devices, the system includes a database of workers, a fool-proofing unit, and a controlling unit. The fool-proofing unit includes an information input module collecting information as to an electronic device and identity and extent of authority of a worker requesting to use such electronic device. A query module to search the database is also included, the query module can determine whether the worker has the authority to sign in to use a certain electronic device. The controlling unit can power on the electronic device when a given worker with necessary authority signs in to use the electronic device. The method is also disclosed.

Abstract: A cabinet for installing first servers or second servers different than the first servers in size, and the cabinet includes a frame and four adjusting assemblies respectively installed to four corners of the frame. Each adjusting assembly includes a first mounting bracket fixed to the frame and a second mounting bracket rotatably connected to the first bracket. When the second bracket is rotated to being received in the first bracket, the first servers can be installed to the first bracket. When the second bracket is rotated away from the first bracket, the second servers can be installed to the second bracket.

Each sidewall defines a first cutout. The cage secures a data storage device and defines two sliding slots and a positioning hole. The handle includes a positioning portion and two mounting portions. Each positioning post is received in each sliding slot. The handle is slidable relative to the cage between a locked position and an unlocked position. When the handle is in the locked position, the positioning portion is engaged in the positioning hole, and each mounting portion is engaged in the first cutout. When the handle is in the unlocked position, the positioning portion is disengaged from the positioning hole, the mounting portion is disengaged from the first cutout, and the two positioning post are movable in the two sliding slots.
