  • Publication number: 20240124667
Abstract: A process for forming multifunctional carbon nanotubes-glass fiber-epoxy composites with high density interfaces for microwave absorption and structural materials application useful as a multifunctional microwave absorption and low-weight structural material without a need of additional coating.
    Type: Application
    Filed: October 13, 2022
    Publication date: April 18, 2024
Applicant: Southern University and A&M College
    Inventors: Guang-lin Zhao, Rong Zhao
  • Publication number: 20190233965
Abstract: Electrocatalytic methods are disclosed that may include preparing a catalyst ink with nano-structured or micro-structured electrocatalyst particles, casting the catalyst ink onto an electrode and drying the catalyst ink while subjecting the catalyst ink to an electrical field. Electrochemical reactions may then be carried out using the modified electrode as an electrocatalyst.
    Type: Application
    Filed: January 22, 2019
    Publication date: August 1, 2019
Inventors: Guang-Lin Zhao, Kuo Li, Maryam Jahan
  • Patent number: 9944528
Abstract: Methods of making carbon nanostructures are disclosed with including examples having heat treatment of a mixture having a fibrous organic reagent and a catalyst in the presence of a reducing agent for a time sufficient to produce a quantity of carbon nanostructures which may be nanotubes or other related structures. The reducing agent may be hydrogen, nitrogen or ammonia.
