  • Publication number: 20170306874
Abstract: A method of testing an automotive vehicle estimates acceleration for multiple time windows. Each of the time windows has a different length. A speed of the vehicle is measured. The acceleration vector is estimated, for the time windows, as a function of the speed and a test speed. A target acceleration is calculated by multiplying the acceleration vector by a driving mode vector. A target speed, of a driver model, is set as a function of a test cycle, the target acceleration, and the speed. The vehicle is controlled at the target speed.

  • Patent number: 9571150
Abstract: An electronic device includes at least one screen. One or more bumpers are moveable between at least a stowed position where the bumper is flush or below the screen and a deployed position where at least a portion of the bumper projects above the screen. One or more sensors detect when the electronic device is subject to one or more drop events. When a drop event is detected, the bumper moves to the deployed position, protecting the screen. In various implementations, the bumper may be moveable by a push-push mechanism or a magnet assisted actuator mechanism. In other implementations, the bumper may include piezoelectric material to which voltage can be applied to move the bumper.

  • Patent number: 7761430
Abstract: Cross domain data systems are verified by creating a program in the target domain language which can be used to determine for a result item whether the result item should be part of a query result. The program is then used in order to determine, for a set of target domain data corresponding to source domain data, a set of expected result items. These are compared with the result from the cross domain data system in order to provide verification of cross domain data systems. Multiple queries may be automatically generated and verified according to this technique.
