  • Patent number: 11953709
Abstract: A system may include one or both of a light emitter and a light receiver. The system may include an optical filter adjacent one or both of the light emitter or the light receiver. The optical filter includes a wavelength selective scattering layer. The wavelength selective scattering layer may have a near-infrared scattering ratio of less than about 0.9. The filter may have a visible reflective haze ratio of greater than about 0.5. A method may include disposing the wavelength selective scattering layer adjacent one or both of the light emitter and the light receiver. An article may include the optical filter. The wavelength selective scattering layer may have an average near-infrared scattering of less than 60%, an average visible scattering of greater than 10%, and a difference between the % total visible reflectance and the % diffuse visible reflectance of less than 20.

  • Patent number: 11757829
Abstract: A method for detecting an IPv6 aliased prefix based on fragmented fingerprint includes: generating a plurality of pseudo random addresses in a target prefix space; determining the target prefix as an active prefix; and determining that the plurality of the pseudo random addresses and the active prefix are configured on the same host, so as to identify the active prefix as the aliased prefix. This method may effectively discover a network host, reduce the cost of network detection, and provide more effective data support for network measurement, network surveying and mapping and security research.

  • Publication number: 20210281543
Abstract: The present disclosure discloses a dynamic IPv6 address probing method based on density. The method comprises the following steps: vectorizing active IPv6 seed addresses, then establishing a density space tree to learn high-density regions of seed addresses, finally generating possibly survivable IPv6 addresses in the high-density regions, and dynamically scanning target addresses. The method solves the problems that the 6Gen is too high in time complexity and the 6Tree limits the address probing range, meanwhile, the address probing efficiency is effectively improved, and the address probing time and economic cost are reduced.

  • Patent number: 10459919
Abstract: In various example embodiments, systems and methods for providing category aspect information by mining historical data is provided. In example embodiments, a table comprising joined data is accessed. The table includes historical data that comprises user behavior data based on actions performed with past queries by users, data describing publication, and a determined category for each publication. Demand scores based on the joined data are determined. The determined demand scores are used to determine most relevant aspect name and aspect value pairs for a category. Publications having at least one of the most relevant aspect name and aspect value pairs are displayed visually distinguished from less relevant publications that exclude the most relevant aspect name and aspect value pairs.

  • Patent number: 10354309
Abstract: Methods and systems for simulating a search, for the purpose of evaluating one or more scoring functions used in ordering item listings for presentation in a search results page are described. Consistent with some embodiments, a simulation platform includes a real-time simulation module that receives search result sets for search queries that result in the conclusion of a transaction. The result set is then processed by the simulation platform with one or more test scoring functions, such that the resulting position of the item listing that has resulted in the transaction can be compared with the actual position at which the item listing was displayed in the actual search results. For each test scoring function, an average rank shift metric is determined, and displayed, thereby providing a metric with which to base decisions about which scoring functions to use in the production system.

  • Patent number: 9552425
Abstract: In various example embodiments, a system and method for determining query aspects for appropriate categories is provided. In example embodiments, query data is collected. The query data indicates a query term and tracked user behavior associated with past queries involving the query term. An aspect demand ratio is calculated for each category of a category tree based on the collected query data. Using at least one processor, one or more lowest categories of the category tree that satisfies a category threshold is determined. The one or more lowest categories are then appended to the query term and stored in a database.

Abstract: Systems and methods for providing category aspect information by mining historical data is provided. A table comprising joined data is accessed. The table includes historical data that comprises user behavior data based on actions performed with past queries by users listing data that includes aspect data for each listing and a determined category for each listing. Demand scores based on the joined data are determined. The determined demand scores are used to determine at least one relevant aspect name for a category. A message is transmitted for display on a device of the user that indicates the at least one most relevant aspect name for the category and suggests the user provide an aspect value that corresponds to the at least one most relevant aspect name to be included in a new listing.

  • Patent number: 9460151
Abstract: Systems and methods to configure a query language using an operator dictionary are described. The system receives, from a first user, a search query to search for document information in a database. The system determines that terms of the search query from the first user are in accordance with dictionary information that corresponds to the first user. The dictionary information includes a first list of compatible query operators. The system applies the search query to the index data structure in the database to identify the document information. The system sends an electronic interface to the first user that includes the document information.

  • Patent number: 9298776
Abstract: In various example embodiments, systems and methods for providing category aspect information by mining historical data is provided. In example embodiments, historical data is compiled. The historical data comprises user behavior data based on actions performed with past queries by users. Listing data is accessed. The listing data includes aspect data for each listing. The historical data is then joined with the listing data and a determined category of the listing to create joined data. Demand scores based on the joined data are determined. The determined demand scores is then sorted to determine at least one relevant aspect name for a category.

  • Patent number: 9158768
Abstract: A method and a system to configure a query language using an operator dictionary are provided. Dictionary information that corresponds to a first user is generated. The dictionary information includes a first list of compatible query operators and a description of compatible data types that correspond to each operator in the first list of query operators. A search query to search for document information in a database is received from a first user. The database includes an inverted index. Terms of the search query from the first user are determined to be in accordance with the dictionary information that corresponds to the first user. The search query is applied to the inverted index in the database to identify the document information. The document information is sent to the first user.

  • Patent number: 9081821
Abstract: An input query can be spell checked by first parsing the input query into one or more tokens. The one or more tokens are then compared against spell storage tables to derive alternative tokens. A spell cursor is launched, with the spell cursor calculating scores for permutations of the tokens and alternative tokens, and the scores representing a likelihood that a user intended to use the permutation as the input query. A memory table may then be formed including the permutations and scores. The memory table can then be passed to a column cursor, the column cursor designed to form an output table of results based on queries to a database using the permutations.
