  • Publication number: 20240381210
Abstract: Various solutions for radio link (RL) problem prediction with respect to user equipment and network node in mobile communications are described. An apparatus may perform an RL problem prediction according to an apparatus context to generate a prediction result before a radio link failure (RLF) occurs. The apparatus may determine whether to perform RL early recovery based on the prediction result.

  • Patent number: 10860411
Abstract: A method implemented by a network element (NE) in a distributed system, the method comprising tracing an execution of a program in the distributed system to produce a record of the execution of the program, wherein the record indicates states of shared resources at various times during the execution of the program, identifying a vulnerable operation that occurred during the program execution based on the record, wherein the record indicates that a first shared resource of the shared resources is in a flawed state after a node that caused the first shared resource to be in the flawed state crashed, and determining that the vulnerable operation results in a time of fault (TOF) bug based on performing a fault-tolerance mechanism.

  • Patent number: 10599551
Abstract: A method for detecting distributed concurrency errors in a distributed cloud computing system includes tracing operations that access objects in functions involving inter-process messaging, applying a set of happens-before rules to the traced operations. Analyzing the traced operations to identify concurrent operations that access a common object to generate a list of potential distributed concurrency errors (DCbugs). Pruning the list of DCbugs to remove DCbugs having only local effect and that do not generate run-time errors.

  • Patent number: 7838249
Abstract: Methods of determining intracellular levels of Rab5 activity are disclosed, as well as fusion proteins utilized in such methods and recombinant constructs encoding such fusion proteins. The fusion protein contains a Rab5-binding domain that specifically binds to an activated form of Rab5-GTP, and a tag conjugated thereto, wherein the tag binds to an affinity matrix for purification of Rab5-GTP. Also disclosed are kits for determining intracellular levels of Rab5 activity.

  • Publication number: 20080096274
Abstract: The present invention describes nucleic acid segments, recombinant alphavirus vectors, and recombinant alphavirus particles that include a Sindbis viral vector. The Sindbis viral vector includes a nucleic acid segment encoding a fusion protein comprising a Sindbis virus nonstructural protein and a protein or peptide of interest, wherein the production of the fusion protein does not affect viral replication or infection. The protein or peptide of interest may be a marker, diagnostic, or therapeutic protein or peptide. Methods of using such recombinant alphavirus particles to kill tumor cells is also described herein.

  • Patent number: 6562350
Abstract: A combined hepatitis A-measles live vaccine, its lyophilized formulations with enhanced storage stability and methods of preparing the same by mixing the viral stocks of hepatitis A virus and measles virus or by propagating the two viruses on same diploid cell substrate are disclosed. The combined live vaccine thus prepared is a useful vaccine for preventing the infections with hepatitis A and measles without causing any interference between antigenicity of the two viruses and any serious adverse events due to their mixing or co-culturing.
