Abstract: An instant communication method includes: acquiring a first keyword; acquiring a mail index list of mails that contain the first keyword; determining at least one mail index from the mail index list; extracting predetermined information from one or more mails that corresponds to the determined mail index; encapsulating the predetermined information into an instant communication message; and sending the instant communication message to a predetermined communication terminal. A client terminal that performs instant communication has a session interface, and a predetermined button is provided on the session interface; and a step of initiating a mail retrieval command includes triggering the predetermined button to generate a mail retrieval command. The instant communication method and the client terminal that are provided by the present disclosure may reduce the operational complexity for the user when needing to send a mail during instant communication, thereby improving user experience and satisfaction.

Abstract: Sending updates associated with a transaction platform to a distribution group of users associated with a messaging service is disclosed, including: receiving an indication of an update associated with a store associated with a transaction platform from a server associated with the transaction platform; in response to the indication, identifying a distribution group of one or more users associated with a messaging service and wherein the distribution group has a binding relationship to the store; determining respective one or more devices corresponding to the one or more users of the distribution group; and sending the update to the respective one or more devices, wherein the update is configured to be displayed within a respective messaging application executing at each of the respective one or more devices.

Abstract: A system including a server of an information publishing subsystem to be accessed into an access subsystem. The access subsystem, according to the accessed information publishing system, provides an effective information publishing system list to a data object placement subsystem. The data object placement subsystem selects a target information publishing subsystem from the effective information publishing subsystem list for placement of data object information. A client terminal of the information publishing subsystem receives the data object list corresponding to the information publishing subsystem from the access subsystem, generates the virtual item according to the data object information, uses the virtual item to send information, and provides corresponding data object information when the data object corresponding to the virtual item is operated. The present disclosure enriches the placement channels of the data objects, and improves the click through rate and conversion rate of the data object.

Abstract: A method and an apparatus for storing a file of an instant communication message are disclosed. The method may include obtaining an instant communication message received by an instant communication application; determining that a file is included in the instant communication message; and storing the file in a cloud storage space corresponding to the instant communication application. Through the technical solutions of the present disclosure, a combination of an instant communication application and a cloud storage function can be implemented to perform a secure and effective storage of files in instant communication messages and to help a user to view and use thereof at a later time.

Abstract: An e-mail processing method includes: receiving, by a server, an e-mail from a sender; if there exists a recipient that has not yet been associated with an e-mail account in the recipients of the e-mail, allocating, by the server, an e-mail account to the recipient; and sending the e-mail to the allocated e-mail account, thereby ensuring that the recipient successfully receives an e-mail of a sender and improving communication efficiency between users. An e-mail group creating method includes: detecting, by a server, an e-mail group creating demand for an instant messaging group; extracting, by the server, an e-mail address corresponding to each member contained in the instant messaging group; and generating a corresponding e-mail group, thereby automatically creating an e-mail group and helping to simplify a user's operation.

Abstract: An electronic mail prompting method is disclosed. The method includes receiving an electronic mail, and obtaining a first identity identifier that identifies a mail sender and a second identity identifier that identifies a mail recipient based on the electronic mail; obtaining relationship data between the first identity identifier and the second identity identifier; and sending a prompting command to an instant communication server based on the relationship data and in accordance with a predetermined rule, the prompting command including the second identity identifier. The electronic mail prompting method can effectively improve the timeliness of informing a user of an electronic mail.
