Abstract: An electronic apparatus is provided. The electronic apparatus includes a sensor configured to sense a user manipulation, a first communicator configured to communicate with an external device through first communication method, a second communicator configured to communicate with the external device through a second communication method which is different from the first communication method, and a processor configured to, based on the user manipulation being a predetermined user gesture, control the first communicator to transmit a first signal for activating predetermined hardware configuration of the external device to the external device, and control the second communicator to transmit a second signal for performing a function corresponding to the predetermined user gesture using the configuration activated by the first signal, to the external device.

Abstract: There is provided a display apparatus, which includes a display configured to display an image; a first sensor configured to detect a first light amount of first light which is incident in a first direction from a front side of the display apparatus; a second sensor configured to detect a plurality of second light amounts of different wavelength bands of second light which is incident in a second direction different from the first direction; and a processor configured to determine a position of a light source using any one of the plurality of second light amounts and the first light amount, correct the first light amount based on the position of the light source, and control an operation of the display apparatus based on the corrected first light amount.
