According to the invention, the adjustment unit comprises a stop part which can be deflected resiliently out of a starting position, wherein the stop position is determined by the extent of deflection in a fixed deflecting position of the stop part.

Abstract: Damping movement device of pieces of furniture which are movable relative to stationary parts. The device has a cylinder with a piston movable in a longitudinal direction, forming a modifiable working chamber filled with liquid medium. The liquid medium is transferred in a throttled manner. A piston rod is sealingly guided and connected to one side of the piston. The movement of the parts of furniture which is to be damped is transmitted to the piston via the outer end of the piston rod facing away from the piston. A volume compensating mechanism is provided. The piston rod is coupled to the piston with overflow ports. The non-return disk with overflow port is moved into sealing contact with the facing piston face. A spring biasing the facing faces of the non-return disk and the piston into the spaced-apart position is arranged between the non-return disk and the piston.

A locking mechanism is provided on the drawer casing, which releasably locks the drawer casing to the drawer rail. The locking mechanism is releasable without the necessity of manipulation by hand.

Abstract: A drawer guide including a drawer rail for connection to a drawer, a carcass rail for connection to a carcass and a center rail which engages the drawer and carcass rails in a load transmitting relationship. Engagement with the drawer and carcass rails is by means of upper and lower carriages each of which include a plurality of rollers. In order to obtain synchronous displacement of the center rail during displacement of the drawer rail, there is provided a closed loop cable or chain traction means which runs over guide rollers arranged on opposite ends of the center rail. The upper run of the traction means is connected to both ends of the upper carriage, while the lower run of the traction means is connected to both ends of the lower carriage.
