  • Patent number: 6137425
Abstract: The invention relates to a waiting time prediction system for visualizing waiting times until the arrival of at least one vehicle (2), in particular a vehicle of the public transit system, at at least one station stop (5). Hardware and/or software expenses are minimized by including the following components: a first device for determining position data of the vehicle (2), a second device for calculating the remaining expected driving time until the arrival of the vehicle (2) at the station stop (5) based on the measured position data of the vehicle (2) and the known coordinates of the station stop (5), and first and second transmission means for transmitting information from the first device to the second device and from the second device to a station stop display (4), wherein the station stop display (4) can be controlled by this second transmission means to indicate the waiting time.

  • Patent number: 5302487
Abstract: The invention describes a solvent mixture for photohardenable compositions, which includes(a) a first component having(i) a first constituent of(aa) a polar solvent of the formula R-OH, wherein R is a H or alkyl, or(aa') a monoalkylether or an alkylether ester of a glycol and constituent of(ii) a second an organic solvent having a boiling point in the range of from about 60.degree. to 160.degree. C. and comprising an aliphatic ketone, an alkanoic acid alkylester, a hydroxyalkanoic acid alkylester or a cyclic ether,in quantitative proportions selected to form a homogeneous mixture, andb) from about 0.1 to 8% by weight, relative to the total solvent mixture, of another solvent, the boiling point of which is higher than each individual boiling point of the constituents of the first component (a). The solvent mixture is used to obtain coating solutions layers which have a higher photosensitivity than corresponding layers prepared without the addition of component (b).

  • Patent number: 4629893
Abstract: A device for detachably securing a collimator to a radiation detector, comprising a first and second annular grooves secured to the radiation detector and the collimator respectively, a split ring having a first and second ring ends and being received in the first annular groove, and a ring diameter control system. The latter one includes a rotating hub and a first and second lever systems connected between the first and second ring ends and the rotating hub. By rotating the hub the ring ends are spread by the lever systems between a first position, where the split ring is alone positioned in the first annular groove, and a second position, where the split ring is arranged in both the first and second annular grooves, thereby attaching the collimator to the radiation detector.
