  • Patent number: 11523967
Abstract: A device for cardiopulmonary massage and/or resuscitation of a patient, which has a massage device arranged on a support board and includes a reversibly drivable massage stamp that can be positioned at a desired contact area on the thoracic cage of the patient for performing cardiopulmonary massage, and further includes a retention plate element which can be positioned on the thoracic cage of the patient at the desired contact area and which, by using at least three clamping elements engaging on its circumference, can be fixed, in particular can be connected to and braced by the support board. This has the effect that the mechanical cardiopulmonary massage can be maintained upright even during difficult transport maneuvers, since the relative position of the patient with respect to the massage device is not appreciably changed by its being clamped between the support board and the retention plate element.

  • Patent number: 10688018
Abstract: The apparatus of the invention is used for cardiopulmonary massaging and/or resuscitation of a patient and includes a massaging device (15) which can be reversibly driven in an actuating direction (23) by a drive unit (18) and which has a pressure surface (20) that can be placed in a target contact zone (21) on the rib cage (12) of a patient (11). In order to easily and reliably prevent the pressure surface of the massaging device to deviate from a target pressure point (21), the plunger (19) can be secured to the rib cage (12) of the patient (11) in the target contact zone (21) and is mounted in such a way as to be freely movable in a plane running transversely to the actuating direction (23) at least during an unloaded state between two massaging strokes.

  • Patent number: 9775771
Abstract: An apparatus for reanimation of a patient that includes a plunger driven by a drive to perform a compressive massage on the patient's body, a position measuring device that measures the respective position of the plunger during its compressive massaging motion, and a holding device for the drive and the plunger.

  • Patent number: 6786917
Abstract: With a method and a device for producing a helper signal for determining the point in time for a defibrillation or a cardiac massage given a cardiac arrest, the value (W) of the blood flow (B) into the head of the patient affected by the heart malfunctioning is used in order on the one hand to determine the necessity for activating the reanimation impulse (current shock/cardiac massage) and in order on the other hand to indicate whether the blood supply of the brain is sufficient. In order to be able to quickly lay the arrangement for measuring the blood flow onto the carotid artery, the measuring arrangement (10) consists of a multidude of individual flow measuring units (11, 11′) arranged next to one another.
