  • Patent number: 7032293
Abstract: A process for producing bundles of laminated sheet metal for magnet cores, wherein laminations are punched free along two longitudinal edges of a sheet metal strip, at least two sheet metal laminations of a magnet core are of a different width extending from one longitudinal edge to the other, and several laminations, which rest against each other, are connected with each other to form the bundle. To simplify the tool control, the two longitudinal edges of a lamination are punched in edge cutting stations, which are separate from each other and are arranged offset in the feed direction of the sheet metal strip. The edge cutting stations for cutting the longitudinal edges have a cutting die and an associated bottom die. The cutting die, together with the bottom die, is displaced for creating different laminate widths.

  • Patent number: 6289961
Abstract: An apparatus for longitudinally welding and severing superposed thermoplastic films forming a packaging hose includes first and second feed rollers each having an outer periphery contacting one another for advancing the films passing therebetween; a drive for rotating at least one of the feed rollers; a circular heating disk mounted in the first feed roller coaxially therewith and having an outer diameter greater than the peripheral diameter of the first feed roller; and a circumferential groove provided in the second feed roller in alignment with the heating disk. Peripheral portions of the heating disk project into the circumferential groove of the second feed roller.

  • Patent number: 5915685
Abstract: In addition to a separating blade which can pivot in and out and move in the direction of transport at a speed set by the stack pressure of the mail separation device (1) and back again, the proposed system also has a system with two separating blades which can also move in a straight line in the direction of transport and back again and can pivot into and out of the letter conveyor line. In addition, a charging module for automatically loading the system with letters is also provided. Once the letters have been loaded into the two-blade system, the latter moves towards the single separating blade. The single blade then swings out, travels behind the two separating blades which likewise move at a speed set by the stack pressure of the mail separation device (1) and swings back in. The separating blades of the separating blade system then swing out, move into their final position to receive new letters and the single separating blade conveys the letters to the mail separation device.
