  • Patent number: 5660022
Abstract: An apparatus for pushing bag packages or similar compliant articles into folding boxes which includes first and second endless conveying devices. Open folding boxes are conveyed on the first conveying device to a bag filling station and the bag packages are conveyed in the region of the filling section in alignment with the folding boxes by the second conveying device. For pushing the bag packages into the folding boxes, a pusher rod in combination with a pivotably arranged lever having a covering tongue are used. Guiding the lever by a contact-pressure element and guide member achieves low loading on the bag packages which permits a simple construction of the apparatus.

  • Patent number: 5358229
Abstract: An apparatus for receiving and dispensing flat articles, particularly folded boxes in a packaging machine including a conveyor system extending substantially in the horizontal plane, and a vertical dispensing chute. To increase the supply of folded boxes, in order to achieve longer reloading intervals between reloading operations, three storage apparatus are disposed above the conveyor system. Each of the storage apparatus has one support that can be lowered into the plane of the conveyor system, and a selection from among these storage apparatus is made by a control device, from signals from fill level sensors and feed sensors.

  • Patent number: 5184712
Abstract: A device for transporting articles from a plurality of dispenser machines to a packaging machine including at least two delivery belts, a delivery device assigned to a furnishing device with furnishing places. Drivers that transfer the furnished articles to receiving cups of a conveyor apparatus of a packaging machine. For transferring the articles furnished to two furnishing places to the conveyor apparatus at a single transfer point, some of the drivers are disposed fixedly relative to the conveyor, and the others are disposed displaceably, transversely to the conveyor direction on the delivery device. The drivers are connected to bars, which extend transversely to a pair of conveyor chains. Stationary guide rails transmit the additional transverse motion to the displaceable drivers.
