  • Publication number: 20070274848
Abstract: The invention relates to a motor-pump assembly having an electric motor, which has a rotor and a stator, and having a pump, which pumps a liquid or a gas or a different pump medium. The pump is in driven connection with the rotor of the electric motor. The electric motor and the pump are enclosed in a common housing. The housing has a casing, on the one end face of which is arranged a motor-end cover and on the other end face of which is arranged a pump-end cover. A non-rotating bearing axis is provided, fixed to the housing, which is borne exclusively by the motor-end cover of the housing and is mounted on the rotor of the electric motor. The pump is arranged adjacent to the electric motor such that the pump and the electric motor are aligned with each other.

  • Patent number: 6659748
Abstract: An internal geared machine capable of forward and reverse operation in a closed circuit having a pinion and an internal toothed ring gear meshing with the pinion and disposed in a housing. A filling comprising two identical filler pieces fills a sickle-shaped space between the pinion and ring gear and a single stop pin mounted in the housing supports both of the filler pieces by their front ends. A pair of axial discs are seated on the pinion shaft on respective sides of the pinion and axial pressure fields and control fields provide opposing pressures against the axial discs.

  • Patent number: 6629594
Abstract: The invention relates to a device and to a method for handling objects, in particular items of luggage. The device has a supporting arm that is freely moveable in at least two axes and that is articulated on a central unit which is positioned at the end of a conveyor belt for conveying objects. The movement of the supporting arm is controlled in a predeterminable manner and a loading device is configured at the free end of the supporting arm. The loading device has a supporting platform for picking up objects and has a rear and a side boundary against which the object that has been picked up in each case rests. The device includes an unloading device which removes the object that has been picked up from the supporting platform.

  • Patent number: 6588574
Abstract: A method and an apparatus for automatically loading and unloading piece goods of different shapes, consistencies and masses in a permanently installed conveying system. The relevant piece goods are picked up automatically by a remote controlled apparatus, by the piece goods being gripped by friction by the apparatus and moved onto a pick-up platform belonging to the apparatus. Moreover, the piece goods, after being picked up on the pick-up platform, are secured by force and/or shape against slipping off or falling down until they are unloaded, and the loaded goods being put down automatically by the apparatus at the intended location.

  • Patent number: 6579456
Abstract: A device and a method are described, which are used for precipitating beverage sediment from the rinsing mixture of beverage production machines and which comprise a rinsing conduit, a sediment receptacle and a filtering means. In order to design a device of this type in a structurally simple manner such that it can be serviced more easily, it is suggested that the filtering means should comprise a first and a second filter which are arranged one after the other when seen in the direction of flow of the rinsing mixture and which are each provided with filtrate discharge means and that a flow connection for the rinsing mixture discharged from the rinsing conduit and for the filter cake precipitated on the first filter should be provided, said flow connection bypassing said first filter and leading into the sediment receptacle.

  • Patent number: 6513419
Abstract: Described is a coffee machine (1) comprising a brewing member (5, 5′), a support surface (15) for ground coffee and a member (3, 6, 7) for applying water to the ground coffee, in which it is possible to level off the ground coffee positioned on the support surface (15) in a constructionally simple and generally applicable manner to obtain a layer having a substantially uniform thickness. To this end there is provided a member (22, 24, 25, 122, 222, 322) which guides water in a purposefully non-uniform manner over the ground coffee such that the ground coffee is distributed over the support surface (15) in a layer having a substantially uniform thickness.
