Abstract: Absorbent articles for personal hygiene comprising an adhesive portion, protrusions, separate from the adhesive portion and folding lines configured so that the article can be folded along the folding lines so that the adhesive portion comes in contact with the protrusions. The articles of the present invention can be packaged in a folded configuration and require less or no release paper or film to protect the adhesive on their garment facing surface.
