  • Publication number: 20220331562
Abstract: Extended dwell catheter assemblies each with a housing having an interior having a catheter assembly located therein, which can include a catheter tube and a needle. The catheter tube of the catheter assembly can be placed into a vein of a patient, with or without a guidewire, and then the extended dwell catheter assembly can be activated to separate into two or more housing components or by opening a gate to enable separation of the catheter assembly from the housing. A needle guard can be included to cover the needle tip of the needle from unintended needlesticks.

  • Patent number: 9511183
Abstract: Disclosed is a filling and recirculation device of a fluid conducting system for blood treatment which has a fluid connector and a three-dimensional four-way valve with a first valve plane on which an inlet connector for the fluid container, an arterial line connector, and a valve-internal coupling connector are arranged and a second valve plane on which an outlet connector and a venous line connector are arranged. The venous line connector is permanently connected with the valve-internal coupling connector. A manually operable valve rotary piston of the four-way valve has a first control section assigned to the first valve plane and a second control section assigned to the second valve plane.

  • Patent number: 9486569
Abstract: Disclosed is an anti-contamination device for preventing contamination of a fluid stored in a fluid container with a spike and a manually operable fluid blocking mechanism arranged directly downstream of the spike. A non-return valve is arranged between the spike and the fluid blocking mechanism, and that valve is adapted to allow only a flow from the spike in the direction of the manually operable fluid blocking mechanism.
