Abstract: Methods and apparatuses for preventing myopia, treating myopia, and/or preventing the progression of myopia are disclosed. The method includes controlling at least one of stimulus to accommodation, image blur distribution, and scene binocular disparity presented to the observer, and selecting an image based on the controlling. The method may be implemented in a display such as a computer display, a cellphone display, a video game display, or a television display.
