  • Publication number: 20240089791
Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. In some wireless communications systems, a wireless device may buffer uplink communications. However, such approaches may be improved. An access point (AP) may receive, from a station, uplink traffic of a traffic flow for forwarding to a backhaul network via a backhaul link. The AP may monitor a buffer of the AP to determine that a quantity of buffered uplink traffic received from the station exceeds a buffer quota, the buffer quota set for the traffic flow based on a traffic throughput capacity of the backhaul link and a throughput parameter for the traffic flow. The AP may modify, based on the quantity of buffered uplink traffic exceeding the buffer quota, an uplink communication scheme to reduce the quantity of uplink traffic from the station.

  • Patent number: 11917542
Abstract: This disclosure provides systems, methods and apparatus, including computer programs encoded on computer storage media, for adjusting a time period to delay entering a power save mode (leak guard) for wireless communications. In one aspect, a wireless communication device may adjust a time period to delay entering a power save mode. The time period is associated with the wireless communication device remaining awake to prevent an access point from transmitting to the wireless communication device while the wireless communication device is in the power save mode. The wireless communication device also may provide, to the AP, an indication that the wireless communication device is entering a power save mode, and the wireless communication device may enter the power save mode. Entering the power save mode is at least the adjusted time period after providing the indication to the AP.

Abstract: This disclosure provides methods, devices and systems for transmitting and receiving physical protocol data units (PPDUs) over multiple links. In some aspects, a wireless communication device may determine that first random back off (RBO) for a first channel of a first link has counted down to zero. A wireless communication device may determine, when the first RBO has counted down to zero, that a second RBO for a second channel of a second link has a count down remaining. A wireless communication device may optionally transmit a medium reservation message on the first link reserving a transmission opportunity (TXOP). A wireless communication device may determine whether to wait for the second RBO before transmitting on the first link. A wireless communication device may transmit at least a first PPDU on the first link during the TXOP.

  • Patent number: 10517006
Abstract: Aspects described herein relate to requesting and/or reporting channel feedback. A request for channel feedback can be generated by an access point, where the request includes an indicator specifying that the request uses a first format different from a second format, where the indicator corresponds to a bit of a station (STA) information field defined by the second format. • Patent number: 10021736
Abstract: A method and apparatus for concurrent wireless communications on multiple channels of the same frequency band. A wireless device receives a first data signal via a first transceiver chain while concurrently initiating a transmission of a second data signal via a second transceiver chain of the wireless device. The wireless device suspends updates to one or more tracking loops of the first transceiver chain in response to initiating the transmission of the second data signal. The updates to the one or more tracking loops may be suspended prior to transmitting the second set of data from the second transceiver chain. The wireless device may subsequently resume updates to the one or more tracking loops of the first transceiver chain after completing the transmission of the second data signal.
