  • Publication number: 20240089791
Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. In some wireless communications systems, a wireless device may buffer uplink communications. However, such approaches may be improved. An access point (AP) may receive, from a station, uplink traffic of a traffic flow for forwarding to a backhaul network via a backhaul link. The AP may monitor a buffer of the AP to determine that a quantity of buffered uplink traffic received from the station exceeds a buffer quota, the buffer quota set for the traffic flow based on a traffic throughput capacity of the backhaul link and a throughput parameter for the traffic flow. The AP may modify, based on the quantity of buffered uplink traffic exceeding the buffer quota, an uplink communication scheme to reduce the quantity of uplink traffic from the station.

  • Publication number: 20170008652
Abstract: The present disclosure is directed to a tool setting management system and method that provides a tool having a tool setting that a user cannot modify by directly physically manipulating any tool setting modification device of the tool and that enables the user to modify the tool setting using a device wirelessly connected to the tool. Generally, the tool setting management system enables a user to wirelessly pair a user device with a tool. The tool has at least one modifiable tool setting, but does not include any component physically manipulatable by the user to modify the tool setting. Once paired with the tool, the user device enables the user to input a tool setting modification, and sends the tool setting modification to the paired tool. Upon receipt, a controller of the paired tool modifies the stored tool setting in accordance with the received tool setting modification.

  • Patent number: 6103486
Abstract: A method for determining the concentration of the free fraction of an active compound, present in a biological fluid, in the presence of natural binders, the free and bound fractions of the active compound being in mutual equilibrium, bya) contacting a sample of the fluid with an unlabeled antibody,b) separating the sample from the unlabeled antibody,c) incubating the unlabeled antibody with a labeled substance (tracer) for cross-reaction with the antibody andd) measuring the amount of the tracer which is or is not bound to the antibody and calculating from this the concentration of the free fraction of the active compound, wherein the quantity of the unlabeled antibody and/or its affinity for the active compound are so small that they do not substantially effect the equilibrium between the free and bound fractions of the active compound, and the affinity of the tracer for the antibody is substantially higher or substantially lower than that of the active compound itself, and a test kit suitable for this metho

  • Patent number: 5126242
Abstract: The invention relates to a process for the stabilization of biologically active substances which are immobilized on a carrier, where the solid phase with the immobilized biologically active substance is contacted for the stabilization with a solution which contains polyanetholesulfonic acid and/or salts thereof. The biologically active substances are, in particular, antibodies.
