  • Patent number: 9152965
Abstract: A method for inter-terminal payment and corresponding devices and computer programs loadable into said devices is disclosed. The method comprises a transfer of financial value from a payment device of a payer (PDPr) to a payment device of a payee (PDPe) with the assistance and the supervision of a trusted third party (TTP). Payment relevant data of the payee is transmitted to the payment device of the payer (PDPr) which triggers the transaction of financial value at the trusted third party (TTP) by a message. The trusted third party (TTP) releases a payment confirmation for the payer and the payee providing a status information on the financial transaction for the payer and the payee, respectively, and sends this information in a confirmation transmission procedure to the payment device of the payer (PDPr) and the payment device of the payee (PDPe), respectively.

  • Patent number: 7380013
Abstract: Access to information related to a client terminal is provided to a first web server, the information being stored by a second web server. The first web server is connected to the client terminal via a proxy server. The second web server sends a message, including a cookie, to the proxy server, wherein the cookie comprises a network address of the second web server. The cookie, related to the client terminal, is stored in the proxy server. The proxy server receives a message from the client terminal addressed to the first web server and the proxy server inserts the stored cookie into the received message. The proxy server forwards the received message to the first web server, which uses the cookie to request information from the second web server.

  • Publication number: 20050257141
Abstract: The invention relates to a method for providing information related to a client (C) to a first web server (WS1) as well as a web server, a proxy server. The invention further relates to a proxy server, a program unit loadable into a proxy server, a web server, and a program unit loadable into a web sever, all of them to perform the invented method. A second web server (WS2) stores the information related to the client (C), and the first web server (WS1) is connected to the client (C) via a proxy server (PS). The proxy server stores a cookie for the first web server (WS1), the cookie being related to the client (C) and the cookie comprising a network address of the second web server (WS2). The client (C) sends a message towards the first web server (WS1) via the proxy server (PS). The message is received in the proxy server (PS), that inserts the cookie into the message, and forwards the message to the first web server (WS1).

  • Publication number: 20030093386
Abstract: The invention relates to a method for allowing a communication station access to a communication system. According to the invention the method is carried out in a way that a logical node of the communication system checks a reception of at least one payment message, wherein the payment message received by the communication system from a communication station, wherein the payment message contains information which constitutes digital money and wherein by sending the payment message digital money for a payment of communication costs is transferred from the communication station to the communication system. The invention further relates to a communication system, a processing means, a logical node, a communication station, a computer program and a computer program product.

  • Patent number: 6496689
Abstract: To achieve an improved overview on service charges for a subscriber to a digital cellular communication network it is proposed to provide a mobile station with a charging indicating unit (6) adapted to receive charging information as unstructured supplementary service data messages (USSD) via the unstructured supplementary service data dialog. Therefore, it is possible to provide charging information without any impact on the hardware of the mobile station (MS). Further, as more detailed information on the kind of service and on the amount of data transferred is available a detailed estimate on the actual cost may be displayed to the user of the mobile station.

  • Publication number: 20020069162
Abstract: A method of automatically paying an amount to a merchant account includes a merchant identifier and a transaction amount acquired from user equipment. The transaction amount is verified and the transaction amount is transferred to the merchant account. At least one parameter of the payment depends on the position of the user equipment. The user equipment sends a purchase request message to a first server. The purchase request message includes information about the location of the user equipment. The first server sends an authorization request message that contains the location information to an authorization server. The authorization server decides about an authorization of the payment by evaluating the location information and the authorization center decides about the authorization of the payment by evaluating the location information and the authorization center sends an authorization response message to the first server depending on the evaluation of the location information.

  • Publication number: 20020052842
Abstract: The invention relates to a method for initiating an electronic payment transaction. A filter FI receives a payment request 300 and modifies it by adding a transaction identification. It sends the modified payment request 301 to a transaction server WS, and a payment request information 302 containing the transaction identification to a communication terminal MS. The transaction server WS receives the modified payment request 301 and a payment initiation 303 containing an additional transaction identification from the communication terminal MS. The transaction server WS compares the transaction identifications of the modified payment request 301 and the payment initiation 303 and performs the payment transaction 304, if the transaction identifications correspond with each other.

  • Publication number: 20020032661
Abstract: A method for the authorization of transactions is described, wherein a user equipment receives an authorization request with an identifier of a transaction and replies to the request with an authorization response. For an authorization request, an indication is determined which is output by the user equipment (UE). Preferably, the identifier is a hash value of the content which is to be authorized. After an input to approve or disapprove the authorization request, the identifier (H) is signed and the authorization response according to the input is sent, wherein an approving authorization response comprises the signed identifier (H). Devices and software programs adapted to the method are also described.
