  • Patent number: 11014324
Abstract: A rotary-tool sleeve extractor for a unit for converting a flat substrate that includes a base (23) intended to be fixed to the conversion unit (7) and an extraction head (24) that: a) is movable with respect to the base (23) between a withdrawn position and a deployed position and, b) has a gripper (25) that can engage with a sleeve (13) of a rotary tool (10, 11).
    Type: Grant
    Filed: November 26, 2015
Date of Patent: May 25, 2021
Inventors: Boris Béguin, Philippe Clément, Guillaume Dénisse
  • Patent number: 10391662
Abstract: An arrangement for transforming a planar support (2) includes first and second rotating cylindrical transformation tools (16, 17), cooperating to convert the support (2), first and second side bearings (26, 27), holding the first tool (16) for rotation (Rs), third and fourth side bearings (29, 31), holding the second tool (17) for rotation (Ri), spacers (43, 44, 46, 47) having an inclined face (48) and slidable (S) to adjust the respective distances (e, e1, e2) between the first and third bearings (26, 29) and between the second and fourth bearings (27, 31), to set a radial gap (20) between the two tools (16, 17). In another solution, either as an alternative to or in cooperation with the first solution, the spacer (43) is moved (S) by a differential screw (57) having a first thread (58) that engages with a tapped hole (59) in an integral part (61) of one of the bearings (29) and a second thread (62) different than the first thread (58) and engaging with a tapped hole (63) in the spacer (43).

  • Publication number: 20160023369
Abstract: An arrangement for cutting off and ejecting waste from a planar support (3), includes a first rotating cylindrical tool for ejecting waste (16), the surface of which has at least one radial, waste-retaining needle, a second rotating cylindrical tool (17), first and second side bearings (26, 27), holding the first tool (16) for rotation, third and fourth side bearings (29, 31), holding the second tool (17) for rotation, and at least one ejector (39); the two tools (16, 17) and the ejector (39) cooperating to eject the waste from the support (3). The ejector (39) is fixed transversely to a lower portion of the first and second bearings (26, 27) respectively.

  • Publication number: 20160016324
Abstract: A method for adjusting a radial gap (20) between two parallel rotary tools (16, 17) used for converting a flat substrate (2), the method using a converting arrangement (18) including a first and a second cylindrical rotary converting tool (16, 17), each tool provided with two laterally spaced apart conical lateral rolling rings (21, 22, 23, 24) arranged to cooperate to convert the substrate (2); a first and a second lateral bearing (26, 27), holds the first tool (16) for rotation (Rs); a third and a fourth lateral bearing (29, 31), holds the second tool (17) for rotation (Ri); clamping elements (34, 37) tighten the first to the third bearing (26, 29) and the second to the fourth bearing (27, 31).
