    Abstract: The invention relates to a rotor for a rotating electrical machine, comprising: a central shaft, an annular core coaxial to the shaft, a winding extending radially around the core, a first claw-pole and a second claw-pole arranged axially on each side of the core and the winding. Each claw-pole of the rotor comprises a plurality of triangular teeth having a base that is tangent to the pole wheel and comprising a first side, denoted a, and a second side, denoted b. The ratio of 1-a/b is between 0 and 0.5, or 0 and ?0.5. The tip of the teeth of one of the claw-poles is equidistant between the ends of the bases adjacent to the tip of the teeth of the other claw-pole.
