  • Patent number: 11898654
Abstract: A heating cartridge with a thermally conductive tube which can be immersed in a thermodilatable material of a thermostatic member. Having a cylindrical body extending axially via a flare; internal electric heating; a base of a plastic material, secured to the tube by overmolding the flare, supporting an electrical connection between the heater and an external current source, and is suitable to be received in a casing of the valve housing. A seal is attached to the base and has a first portion pressed radially against the housing in the casing so as to seal the interior of the casing. In order to improve the sealing of said cartridge, the seal also includes a second portion, which is separate from the first portion and which is pressed radially against the cylindrical body of the tube to seal the overmolding interface between the flare of the tube and the base.

  • Publication number: 20220389857
Abstract: A device that includes a thermostatic element, with a piston and a body movable along an axis with respect to one another under the effect of the expansion of a thermodilatable material, and a stopper moved axially by the body with respect to a fixed seat so as to open and close a fluid circulation passage. The stopper includes a flexible seal which rests sealingly against the fixed seat in order to close the passage, and a rigid frame which fixedly supports the seal. The frame includes a central portion, mounted around the body to be driven by the body, and a peripheral part, folded towards the axis, partially crushing the seal. The seal is held in place on the frame by being pushed, radially to the axis, directly against the body of the thermostatic element under the effect of crushing the seal by the peripheral portion of the frame.

  • Patent number: 11402025
Abstract: A valve with a sleeve movable along its central axis regulates fluid flow between the orifices of a housing for the valve. The valve has a thermost including heat-sensitive and movable parts, the latter being translatable relative to the heat-sensitive part along the central axis during expansion of a thermodilatable material contained in the heat-sensitive part. The thermostat is kinematically connected to the housing by a stirrup and kinematically connected to the sleeve, such that movements between the heat-sensitive and movable parts regulate the sleeve. In order for the valve to be more compact and safer, the stirrup has an arm extending lengthwise parallel to the central axis and connecting inside the sleeve the heat-sensitive part to an attachment part of the housing, and a fastener at its longitudinal end opposite the thermostat suitable for locking to the attachment part by plastic deformation.

  • Patent number: 9844097
Abstract: This heating assembly comprises a thermally conductive tube (42), to be immersed in a thermally expandable material of a thermostatic element of a valve, an electric heating resistor disposed inside the tube and from which there extend electrically conductive wires (62), and a unitary housing (1) made from plastic, through which the fluid to be regulated flows via the valve, and which is secured by over-molding of a longitudinal end portion (44) of the tube.

  • Patent number: 9709999
Abstract: An element with a cup containing a thermally expanding material, a piston capable of translational movement along its axis, a rigid guide for guiding the piston, a seal for sealing in the thermally expanding material having an annular overall shape, centered on the axis and through which the piston passes axially, and which includes first and second opposite axial parts against which the guide and cup press respectively in an antagonistic manner to compress the seal around the piston, and an anti-extrusion washer mounted coaxially around the piston and axially interposed between the guide and first part of the seal. The first part of the seal around the piston can be supercompressed to make the degree of compression equal to a value strictly higher than that associated with an operational thermostatic element formed by the cup, piston, guide, seal and anti-extrusion washer assembled with one another without the supercompression.
