  • Publication number: 20230183171
Abstract: The present invention relates to a process for the preparation of substituted 4-(N?-hydroxy-carbamimidoyl)benzoic acids, which can be obtained by nitrilase catalyzed hydration of substituted terephthalonitriles of formula (II) in an aqueous medium to afford (ammonium) 4-cyanobenzoic acids (IIa). The hydration is followed by treatment of the aqueous reaction medium with hydroxylamine or a salt thereof to afford amidoximes (I).

  • Publication number: 20220338954
Abstract: A device for assisting surgery includes means for offsetting a rotation of a first type and a second type, a mechanism for transmitting a rotation of a third type, and a mechanism for transforming the rotation of a third type into a translation. An elastic element is connected at one end to the mechanism for transmitting the rotation of a third type. The mechanism for transmitting the rotation of a third type is connected to a rotary motor, the rotation of the motor in a first direction causing the lowering of a tool and an elongation of the elastic element, the rotation of the motor in a second direction causing the raising of the tool and a contraction of the elastic element, and, when the tool is lowered and the rotary motor is not exerting any torque, the elastic element returns to an initial shape causing the raising of the tool.

  • Publication number: 20210370960
Abstract: The various embodiments described herein generally relate to systems and methods for monitoring an operation of one or more self-driving vehicles. The method involves operating a vehicle processor of a self-driving vehicle to: collect, during operation, operation data associated with the operation of the self-driving vehicle; detect, from the operation data, a trigger condition is satisfied during the operation; determine, for the trigger condition, a pre-condition period and a post-condition period, the pre-condition period defining a time period before the trigger condition occurred and the post-condition period defining a time period following the trigger condition; retrieve, from a vehicle data storage, the subset of the operation data collected by the self-driving vehicle during the pre-condition period and the post-condition period; and transmit the subset of the operation data to the data analysis system.

  • Patent number: 11153263
Abstract: A method of delivering content in one or more packets over a network is described. A content request packet comprising a request for content based on a first IPv6 address is received, the first IPv6 address identifying the content. The first IPv6 address is mapped to a second IPv6 address, the second IPv6 address being associated with the content at a physical location. The content requested in the content request packet is then received from the physical location associated with the second IPv6 address for delivery to a user. A further method includes routing a packet for requesting the content from a client to a content server storing an instant of the content, based on an IPv6 address of content being requested by the client. A communication session is then set up between the client and the content server; and the requested content is transmitted from the content server.

  • Patent number: 10947857
Abstract: Labyrinth seal for a turbine engine, in particular of an aircraft, including a rotor element rotating about an axis of rotation, and a stator element extending around the rotor element The rotor element includes a series of annular lips extending radially outwards and surrounded by at least one abradable element carried by the stator element. Each lip includes an inner peripheral body portion, an outer peripheral body portion and an upstream annular face for impact of an air flow during operation. At least one lip has, looking from the upstream annular face, a first annular cavity with a concave rounded cross-section on its inner peripheral body portion and a second annular cavity with a concave rounded cross-section on its outer peripheral body portion.

  • Patent number: 10536561
Abstract: A content delivery node receives data packets carrying content from an upstream source of content, and writes segments of the received content directly to a memory buffer of a memory using direct memory access (DMA) data transfers. The node derives, for each segment, respective segment-specific metadata based on contents of the segment, and stores the respective segment-specific metadata in the memory. The node receives from multiple downstream client devices respective requests for the same content. Each request includes client-specific information.
