  • Patent number: 9158776
Abstract: Methods and apparatus are provided providing users with the ability to create and produce multimedia devices. In one aspect of the present invention, users are provided with the capability to easily and seamlessly create slideshows using multiple forms of graphic elements instead of just still pictures. In another aspect of the present invention, users are provided with the capability to create and modify the DVD menu that is required for DVDs to function properly on conventional DVD players. In still another aspect of the present invention, users are provided with an intuitive graphic interface that simply and clearly explains the trade offs the user must make in deciding which mode to record the DVD.

  • Publication number: 20150106722
Abstract: In some implementations, a computing device can be configured to generate a slide show type presentation based on images (e.g., digital photographs, videos, etc.) in a user's media library. While viewing the presentation, the computing device can receive user input to change the display of the images between a slideshow, a single image, and/or a grid view presentation mode. In some implementations, the user can provide input with respect to an image displayed on a slide to manipulate the image. In some implementations, the user can provide continuous input with respect to a slide to cause a transition animation to be displayed according to the amount and direction of user input received. For example, the speed, direction (e.g., forward, backward) and completion of the transition animation can be controlled by the user's input.

  • Publication number: 20140347354
Abstract: Among other things, methods, systems and computer program products are disclosed for displaying a sequence of multiple images to provide an appearance of a three-dimensional (30) effect. A data processing device or system can identify multiple images to be displayed. The data processing device or system can divide a two-dimensional (20) display area into multiple display portions. The data processing device or system can display a sequence of the identified images on the display portions so as to provide an appearance of a three-dimensional (30) effect.

  • Patent number: 8626322
Abstract: A computer-implemented method and system are provided for profiling or analyzing audio data based on an audio parameter. The audio data is divided into audio data into segments. Each segment is characterized by the audio parameter in a defined range. Effects are selected according to the segments meeting criteria for the audio parameter of the effects. A media presentation is authored or generated using the selected effects.
