  • Patent number: 12184418
Abstract: Disclosed are example embodiments of systems and methods for hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ). An example method includes performing a first HARQ compression to reduce a number of HARQ bits, the HARQ compression comprising one of a unified HARQ compression and a block-wise HARQ compression. Optionally, the example method further includes performing a second HARQ compression to further reduce the number of HARQ bits to a compressed number of HARQ bits. One of the first HARQ compression and the second HARQ compression include the unified HARQ compression and another of the first HARQ compression and the second HARQ compression comprising the block-wise HARQ compression. The example method also includes saving the compressed HARQ data to a DDR storage.

  • Publication number: 20240397385
Abstract: A method for scheduling control in UWB communication is provided. The method includes transmitting a first control message at a beginning of a first communication period to a UWB device, the first control message indicating a first slot allocation to the UWB device for the first communication period. The method also includes receiving, from the UWB device, a scheduling information message indicating an estimated number of slots needed for a second communication period subsequent to the first communication period. The method also includes determining a second slot allocation to the UWB device based on the estimated number of slots needed. The method further includes transmitting a second control message, at a beginning of the second communication period, to the UWB device, the second control message indicating the second slot allocation to the UWB device for the second communication period.

  • Publication number: 20240275429
Abstract: A method for operating an ultra-wideband (UWB) device includes detecting the UWB device entering an access-controlled area that includes a gate configured to perform a UWB communication, retrieving an access token from an application server of the access-controlled area through a wireless communication other than the UWB communication prior to the UWB device entering a predetermined range of the gate, and transmitting the access token to the gate through the UWB communication after the UWB device entering the predetermined range of the gate.

  • Publication number: 20220214420
Abstract: A method for performing location functions in a wireless communications using user equipment devices which communicate using a sidelink communication link is provided. Information may be transmitted from a transmit user equipment to a receive user equipment, and the information may be utilised to establish a locality of the transmit user equipment. If it is determined that the transmit user locality coincides with a communication area of the receive user equipment HARQ feedback may be enabled.

  • Patent number: 10030686
Abstract: A self-drilling anchor including a screw and an anchor body configured to receive a shank of the screw, the anchor body including: a flange at an end oriented toward a head of the screw, a threaded portion, a deformable expansion portion between the flange and the threaded portion, and a rotation locking mechanism preventing rotation of the anchor body relative to the wall. The threaded portion is configured to engage with the screw thread and advance in a direction of the flange, by deforming the expansion portion, when the screw is screwed into the threaded portion. The anchor body further includes a piercing element at the opposite end from the flange, the anchor including a fastening mechanism between the screw and the anchor body, the fastening mechanism being detachable by a torque, applied between the screw and the anchor body, equal to or greater than a predetermined torque.

  • Patent number: 9631661
Abstract: An expansion anchor includes a screw and an anchor body configured to receive a shank of the screw, the anchor body including: a flange configured to be directed towards the screw head; a nut-forming portion configured to cooperate with the screw thread; and a deformable expansion portion between the flange and the nut-forming portion. The nut-forming portion is configured to advance in the direction of the flange, by deforming the expansion portion to a deployed state, by screwing the screw in the nut-forming portion. When the anchor is mounted inside a hole in a wall, with the flange bearing against a first face of the wall, the expansion portion in the deployed state forms a continuous contact surface facing a second face of the wall and has a load-bearing section, transversely with respect to the screw axis, which is generally decreasing from the contact surface towards the nut-forming portion.
