Publication number: 20250002048Abstract: Techniques for identifying road segments associated with an object trajectory are discussed herein. A computing device can implement a model that extracts points from an object trajectory and identifies road segments along a path between the extracted points. The model can determine a set of road segments for the path based on searching a graph. The graph can comprise nodes to represent different road segments, and a graph search algorithm can output road segments representing a shortest path between the nodes associated with the extracted points. The road segments can be used by a vehicle computing device for predicting vehicle actions to control a vehicle.Type: ApplicationFiled: June 30, 2023Publication date: January 2, 2025Inventors: Xiaosi Zeng, Lakshay Garg, Cheng Peng, Andres Guillermo Morales Morales

Patent number: 12084087Abstract: Techniques for determining unified futures of objects in an environment are discussed herein. Techniques may include determining a first feature associated with an object in an environment and a second feature associated with the environment and based on a position of the object in the environment, updating a graph neural network (GNN) to encode the first feature and second feature into a graph node representing the object and encode relative positions of additional objects in the environment into one or more edges attached to the node. The GNN may be decoded to determine a distribution of predicted positions for the object in the future that meet a criterion, allowing for more efficient sampling. A predicted position of the object in the future may be determined by sampling from the distribution.Type: GrantFiled: November 24, 2021Date of Patent: September 10, 2024Assignee: Zoox, Inc.Inventors: Gowtham Garimella, Marin Kobilarov, Andres Guillermo Morales Morales, Ethan Miller Pronovost, Kai Zhenyu Wang, Xiaosi Zeng

Patent number: 12080044Abstract: Techniques for determining unified futures of objects in an environment are discussed herein. The GNN may be decoded to determine a distribution of predicted positions for the object in the future. A predicted position of the object at a subsequent timestep may be determined by sampling from the distribution of predicted positions according to various sampling strategies. Patent number: 11998385Abstract: The invention provides a method for generating a non-invasive measure of blood vessel rigidity for a subject. The method includes obtaining 2D ultrasound data and 3D ultrasound data of the blood vessel from a given measurement location. The 2D ultrasound data provides information relating to a movement of the blood vessel and the 3D ultrasound data provides information relating to a shape of the blood vessel. A motion of the blood vessel is then determined based on the movement of the blood vessel. The method then includes providing the determined motion of the blood vessel, the shape of the blood vessel and an obtained non-invasive pressure measurement to a biomechanical model. A measure of rigidity is then determined based on the biomechanical model.Type: GrantFiled: January 13, 2020Date of Patent: June 4, 2024Assignee: KONINKLIJKE PHILIPS N.V.Inventors: Laurence Rouet, Hernán Guillermo Morales Varela, Constance Marie Anne Fourcade
