    Abstract: A serving cart for a passenger cabin, especially for serving of passengers in transport vehicles such as airplanes. The serving cart includes a receiving space for catering units as well as at least one access opening to the receiving space. The receiving space is enclosed by a housing and the housing includes side walls, a top plate and a bottom plate. On the bottom plate there are lockable rollers making it possible to move the serving cart within the lengthwise aisle of the passenger cabin. In order to improve the working conditions of the flight attendants, it is possible to reach the catering units being handed out to the passengers through the top plate of the housing, which has for this purpose at least one access opening to the receiving space.
