  • Patent number: 12353950
Abstract: A system controlled responsive at least in part to data read from data bearing records is operative to cause vehicle parts usable to repair or upgrade vehicles to be determined and furnished. Data from the vehicle such as data read by a reader from a tag associated with a vehicle or from a circuit of the vehicle is used to determine vehicle identifying data. A repair estimate calculation circuit (RECC) operates responsive to the read data to produce a needed parts record (NPR). The records produced by the RECC are operative to cause a vehicle repair entity (VRE) to be furnished the vehicle repair or upgrade parts.

  • Publication number: 20250121024
Abstract: The present invention relates to the combined use of imiquimod and a casein hydrolysate for the treatment of condyloma. The composition of the casein hydrolysate is determined by the use of a proline-specific endoprotease for the hydrolysis of casein and is characterized in that the molar fraction of the peptides of said hydrolysate carrying a carboxy terminal proline, expressed in %, is more than two times the molar fraction of proline, expressed in %, in the casein substrate used to generate the hydrolysate. By means of this combination, a complete remission of the warts and the absence of recurrences are achieved in patients suffering from condyloma. The present invention also relates to a pharmaceutical composition for topical administration comprising the combination of imiquimod and a casein hydrolysate.

  • Publication number: 20240113973
Abstract: A method for congestion control in a data communication protocol employing acknowledged communication may include measuring a flight size. A transmission rate may be measured. A trend of the flight size may be determined. A trend of the transmission rate may be determined, and the trend may be derived from a transmission rate gradient calculation, in which either the transmission rate measurements or the transmission rate gradient calculations or both may be filtered to reduce their temporal variability. Whether there is a congestion may be detected according to the determined trend of the transmission rate and the trend of the flight size. Upon detection of the congestion, a change may be made from a current congestion control state to a new congestion control state. Data may be transmitted while respecting a maximum amount of unacknowledged data which the transmitting node may transmit. An apparatus is also disclosed.

  • Publication number: 20220234775
Abstract: The procedure of the invention consists in manufacturing and/or transforming flexible containers in vertical filling and sealing machines that manufacture or process English fold, stable bottom or pad type containers, by generating and sealing flaps at the top and/or bottom of the lateral sides of the previous pre-container (6a) or subsequent pre-container (6b) arranged in the vertical machine. Impact bodies (2; 3) installed in the vertical machine are used, which, when operated, hit, push and fold at least part of at least one side or lateral side on at least another part of another side or contiguous side, thus generating at least any one of the flaps such as: the plus flaps (11; 12; 13), triangular body flaps (14) manipulated triangular body flaps (15) the flap folded on itself (15a) or the strip flap (15b). Subsequently, the flaps are sealed, by means of a sealing mode like that of a resistance, in order to keep the generated flap permanently stable.

  • Patent number: 11304531
Abstract: A volumetrically efficient mechanism for raising and lowering sitting assemblies to provide ready access below them. A scissors assembly is selectively moved from a collapsible to an extended (raised) configuration by an electric motor with a telescopic arm that acts on hingedly mounted U-shape frames. The distal ends of the frames include wheels that ride over a lower support assembly. The telescopic arm is mounted to one of the distal upper member of the frames and the motor is rigidly mounted to the upper end of the other U-shape frame or to the lower support assembly causing them to selectively move between the two extreme configurations.

  • Publication number: 20190161218
Abstract: Procedures and devices to transform three dimensional flexible sealed containers of at least two faces or sides and which in their interior contain at least one fluid and, optionally or complementarily, solid or solids, granulates or powders, by folding at least once over itself, towards at least one direction: at least part of at least one flap/triangular shape (36) or strip (37) over at least part of another part of the same flap/triangular shape (36) or strip (37), alongside with also previously and/or posteriously there will be a seal of at least one part by at least one face or side of the flap/triangular body (36) or strip (37) generated and/or being this one folded at least once over itself. This system supposes improvements regarding the inalterability of the container, economic and ecological considerations by not having to cut the flaps or triangular shapes, keeping it intact, without fissures or tearings in the initial container body, transformed in 3D.
