  • Publication number: 20210250787
Abstract: A method and apparatus to perform communicating with a network device in a communication network by another network device, information including characteristics of a 3 GPP system network associated with the another network device; based at least on the information, determining scheduling information for communication by at least one network node in the 3 GPP system network; and sending the scheduling information for the communication in the 3 GPP system network. Further, to perform communicating with a network device in a communication network by another network device information including characteristics of an 3 GPP system network associated with the another network device; and based on the characteristics, communicating with the network device to identify at least one interval of time to achieve a specific deterministic latency for a communication in the 3 GPP system network by at least one network node.

  • Publication number: 20210250815
Abstract: A solution for handover control in communication system is disclosed, the solution comprising controlling (300) more than one wireless interfaces configured to maintain more than one radio connection connecting the apparatus to one or more networks, the more than one radio connection being related to a same service and controlling (302) timing of handovers of the different radio connections to execute non overlapping handovers in time.

  • Publication number: 20200195408
Abstract: Various communication systems may benefit from puncturing of enhanced mobile broadband transmissions due to low latency communications. It may be helpful to manage the puncturing of enhanced mobile broadband transmissions. A method may include replacing by a base station at least one code block in an enhanced mobile broadband transport block transmission with a low latency communication transmission. The method may also include transmitting the enhanced mobile broadband transport block with the at least one replaced code block with the low latency communication transmission to a user equipment. In addition, the method includes transmitting the replaced at least one code block from the base station to a user equipment using other resources.

  • Publication number: 20190379597
Abstract: A packetization module receives messages in a plurality of streams. The packetization module also accesses requirements corresponding to the plurality of streams and information indicating capacities of a plurality of paths between a first endpoint and a second endpoint. The messages are redundantly transmitted from a subset of the plurality of streams over the plurality of paths. The subset is selected based on the requirements and the capacities. In some cases, a timer is initiated in response to the packetization module receiving one of the first messages. The packets are then transmitted in response to expiration of the timer or in response to the packets reaching the capacities of the plurality of paths. In some cases, the messages are stored in buffers that define congestion windows for the streams. A congestion controller modifies the sizes of the congestion windows based on acknowledgment feedback.

  • Publication number: 20180331964
Abstract: One or more of multiple UEs with a pending payload are assigned to individual sets of PRBs. The allocating assigns X of N total PRBs to be transmitted, X<N, wherein the allocating is performed to accommodate transmission of the corresponding payloads, given a required MCS for each of the one or more UEs, to meet an initial error rate for transmission of the payloads. One or more of the remaining N?X PRBs are reassigned to at least one user equipment that has already been allocated one or more PRBs. The MCS to be used for the at least one user equipment is adjusted given a total number of assigned PRBs per individual ones of the at least one user equipment. The adjusting lowers the initial error rate to a final error rate. The pending payloads are transmitted to the one or more UEs using the PRBs and the corresponding MCS.

  • Patent number: 9883417
Abstract: This document discloses a solution of interference coordination in wireless communication systems where a base station may request a specified load report from another base station. A first base station may store load information of terminal devices associated with the identifier of strongest interference source for each terminal device. The first base station may receive a load report request from a second base station. The first base station may respond to the second base station with a load report including load information of only terminal devices whose strongest interference source is the second base station. The second base station may receive the load report further and provide communication resources on the basis of the received load report.
