  • Publication number: 20250114390
Abstract: The present disclosure describe a simple optimized method that allows the combined manufacture of five active substances: cyanocobalamin, pyridoxine, thiamine, pregabalin and celecoxib in a single solid, stable, immediate release pharmaceutical form for pain. The combined use of drugs that act at distinct levels is associated with greater pain relief and, as they can be used at lower doses, with a reduced risk of adverse effects. In this context, the combined use of B vitamins plus pregabalin and celecoxib would be associated with greater analgesic activity through complementary action mechanisms.

  • Publication number: 20250114332
Abstract: It is described and claimed a pharmaceutical composition comprising celecoxib and acetaminophen as active ingredients, wherein the pharmaceutical composition is an immediate release coated tablet. The pharmaceutical composition is particularly stable and allows the oral administration in a single dosage unit of two active ingredients. It is further provided a process for manufacturing the pharmaceutical composition, as well as the use of said pharmaceutical composition for the treatment of pain, it provides analgesia and a reduction of adverse effects.

  • Patent number: 10702470
Abstract: A uterine cervical device is provided whose antiviral properties of copper have been directed, broadened and extended to reduce the risk of contracting uterine cervical cancer and act as a preventive factor in cervical carcinogenesis. This is achieved by concentrating, increasing and distributing the copper adjacent the female reproductive apparatus, consisting of the lower part of the uterine cavity and the endocervix, an incubation site of the human papillomavirus, the leading cause of uterine cervical cancer. The device as presented increases the ionic capacity of copper by increasing its surface to 418 mm, and spacing out coils of the winding, incorporating a length of the same material, and positioning it directly in the cervix, which is shaped like a coil, Solomon Bar, bracelet or Celtic Knot, having assembled the copper filaments on a plastic frame of sizes that correspond to the proportions of the uterine cavity according to its parity.

  • Patent number: 9610057
Abstract: In accordance with one aspect of the present system, a dual energy X-ray imaging system includes a communication module configured to receive a pre-shot image from a detection circuitry and receive one or more pre-shot parameters from a source controller of the dual energy X-ray imaging system. The dual energy X-ray imaging system further includes an analysis module configured to determine one or more image characteristics of the pre-shot image. The dual energy X-ray imaging system further includes a determination module configured to calculate a first and a second set of main-shot parameters based on the one or more pre-shot parameters and the one or more image characteristics of the pre-shot image. The determination module is further configured to send the one or more main-shot parameters to the source controller of the dual energy X-ray imaging system.

  • Publication number: 20080216842
Abstract: The present invention relates to a flexible plastic intrauterine device with contraceptive aim, which has a “T” shape. The length of the horizontal arms coincides approximately with the width of the uterine bottom according to the parity and the length of the vertical rod of the frame with the functional uterine cavity of the nulligest, nulliparous, young and multiparous Mexican women. The intrauterine device is presented in five models whose measurements of length of the frame or of the tilde or horizontal arms are from 13 to 33 mm and the length of the post or vertical rod is from 21 mm to 39 mm. Attached or injected thereto is included a plastic monofilament from 10 to 40 cm in length in the distal end of the post or vertical rod whose shape is a spherical, hexagonal or flat. The plastic frame of medical grade contains wound in the tilde or both horizontal arms of the “T” a copper filament from 0.24 to 0.26 mm in diameter or a copper tube from 2.1 to 2.2 mm in exterior diameter, and a length of 4.9 to 5.

  • Publication number: 20070151565
Abstract: The invention relates to a method of producing an adaptable or made-to-measure intrauterine device. The inventive method consists in: determining physiological variables of the uterine cavity of the patient; producing the device in accordance with the patient's measured physiological variables; and positioning the device using an insertion element that has been specially designed for said purpose. The invention also relates to the intrauterine device which can be adapted to the individual measurements of the uterine cavity of a patient and which is produced using the aforementioned method.
