Abstract: The disclosure discloses a system resource balance adjustment method and device. The method comprises: categorizing high speed buffer memory resources according to a type of disk accessed, and respectively determining, according to service requirements, a target value for configuration parameters of the high speed buffer memory resources of each category; when a system is in operation, periodically detecting whether the high speed buffer memory resources are balanced, when it is determined that the high speed buffer memory resources are required to be adjusted, adjusting front-end page allocation and/or back-end resources corresponding to imbalanced high speed buffer memory resource categories according to the target value. The technical solution of the disclosure allows for each type of service to more reasonably occupy shared resources, and adjusts the performance of the entire system to a required mode.

Abstract: A method and an apparatus for improving disk array performance relate to the technical field of computer systems. The method thereof comprises the following steps: setting a buffer between a disk array RAID and a disk block device; when write 10 is delivered to the disk array, temporarily saving data required by the disk array to the buffer; through organizing the data that is required by the disk array and temporarily saved by the buffer, providing corresponding query and update interfaces; and using the interfaces to perform query and update required by the write IO.

Abstract: A sunlight and water utilized compound mosquito attraction apparatus and an energy efficient sunlight powered mosquito killing system, which can be integrated into a complete mosquito attraction and killing system, solely use natural resources of sunlight and water to perform functions of mosquito attraction and killing. Comprising a multi-function solar utilizer and a standing water container, the sunlight and water utilized compound mosquito attraction apparatus synthetically and complementarily utilizes sunlight and water. To use sunlight to kill mosquito with less size and less cost of group of solar cells and with functional time beyond daytime, the energy efficient sunlight powered mosquito killing system uses two energy reservoirs and a periodic control process of letting the system alternatively in electricity supply state and electricity non-supply state. The specific physical form of the integrated mosquito attraction and killing system also allows zero maintenance effort.

Abstract: A ballot with characteristics of definite voter intent certainty, extremely high ballot count accuracy, recount and confirmation capability, high accessibility of the aged and the disabled voters, and significant election day wait time reduction, is combined by two parts. The first part is a sheet of paper that is printed with a voter individually specified, computer generated and electronically printed list of voter intent units. Each of the voter intent units comprises one election issue, one chosen candidate for the election issue and one bar code solely representing the election issue and the chosen candidate. The second part is a validation number sticker. A set of validation numbers is generated through a validation number coding method. Each validation number is associated with a bar code. Each validation number and the associated bar code are printed on a sticker.

Abstract: A large size sea surface vehicle is combined by a large number of cells that are distributed along two horizontal dimensions on sea surface. Connections of the cells are elastic and flexible to prevent destructive stress. Its power system comprises a large number of engines controlled by computers that are organized in an Internet-like computer network. The sea surface vehicle is unlimitedly scalable, practically unsinkable and exceptionally mobile and its draught is very shallow. Without changing itself, the sea surface vehicle can function as the bases of an aircraft carrier, a mobile sea surface airport, a heavy weapon group transport/landing ship, a comprehensive sea battle platform and a solar energy collection platform. An airplane takeoff/landing platform is made for airplanes to take off and land on it.
